Hi all!

Wow -- much to catch up on.

DH and I are back on WW, so it looks like we're in for the weight loss group, too.

We went to San Pedro for Valentine's Day to see the Golden Princess and the Mariner of the Seas shove off with some friends who are on our PC cruise. We had a blast when they played "Hey Baby" and "The Macarena."

I promised I would read this thread more. :wizard:

I forgot to ask this question earlier when we were discussing the lengthy debarkation process in LA. Do we at least get to have our passports stamped in the port of LA after all that? I know they dont give the stamps in PC, so the only US entry stamps I have are from the PHL airport...

I don't know about a stamp, but it will get scaned.

Hello Everyone!

This morning I changed our January Mexican Riviera to the Panama Canal cruise for my DH Dick and myself, Barb.

We have been fortunate to have taken 10 DCL cruises with our family...sons Mike and Steven...and this will be our celebration cruise as empty nesters next year!

I found the web site for our cruise but did not see how to add our information to the traveling list. Could someone please advise me. We always enjoy the DIS board group activities.

We live in Iowa and it's been a cold, snowy, worst then usual winter. I'm soooo glad I got "cruise distracted" yesterday and came up with the idea of changing to this cruise!

Looking forward to getting to know you! :thumbsup2

Barb

Welcome Barb and Dick! We too had a Mexican Riviera booked and we changed it to this one. We can't wait!!!!

Anybody looking for luggage for their children or small suitcases for yourself? I found some cute Disney ones on sale here: http://events.shoebuy.com/heys-all.htm . They're normally $140 but they are on sale for $35. Email I got states it is until Friday 4PM EST.

ETA: Well, never mind, they're all sold out :(

I dunno that I'd say "happy" about dieting:lmao:

Well happy to help anyways ;) Dieting isn't fun that's for sure, but I try to think about it is a positive thing...plus...I do have an incentive. My husband has offered some very nice perks along the way if I keep on track, including some cruise perks! :) He is the best

Cheerio,

Holly

I think one of the best motivators I've ever seen was Lynne's pictures, especially the one of her on the hammock at cc, and in her formal gown. How beautiful!

Welcome Barb!!!!
We are pretty much getting into that empty nesters stage. Our youngest DD is graduating from high school in June. It will also be just the two of us traveling!
Looking forward to getting to know you!!

I really did love Disneyland (the orginal, DCA, not so much). But I totally disagreed with Walt about the castle. Everytime I see it I keep thinking it looks like they ran out of money building it so they shrunk it.
Now the castle at Paris puts all the rest to shame!

I have been to DL soooo many times. In August we went to WDW for the first time. We have heard so much about how much bigger the Castle was at MK than DL. I was expecting this huge extravegant castle. When we finally were able to see it, I was actually a little disappointed. It is bigger than the one at DL, but I was expecting so much more.

I love It's a Small World at DL!!! I was really surprised when I saw it at WDW. I thought it would be just as nice or better.

That was definitely motivation for me!! She looks fantastic!!!

I love our castle. I think the size really comes into play because the Matterhorn (First Disney Roller Coaster) is right next to it. As for DCA, I think this will the the best domestic park when they are done fixing it. I agree, when DCA opened it was, oh how to put it nice, underwellming.

I totally agree!!:thumbsup2

Hi everyone! I really need to start catching up on my reading. I did see someone asked about zip line. DH & I did the one PV in '08, they have 14 lines to zip across and a nice area for those who do not zip. This was awesome!

The little spot in the sky is someone zipping. :worship:
