From WDW to DL With Love - January 06, 2011 part 2

Most of it is mischief making by the kids, often leaving magnets on other doors, but other times it isn't. On the '08 PC cruise some things went from people's fish extenders too.

Those of you thinking about doing photo mats - be sure to tape off the edges (funny how hindsight is always 20/20) as the characters will sign right up to the edges and your frame will cover some of that area.

WeLoveDCL - those pillowcases are absolutely adorable. Good job.

Well, Monday is over and for me - it is Friday already. I am leaving in the morning to go see my folks in Ohio. Tomorrow is my Dad's birthday and it will be a surprise for him although my Mom does know. It will be good to see him.

Hi everyone, we haven't been on the Disboards in quite a while, but as cruise time draws near, we will be checking more often!

Have any FE lists been created yet? We had so much fun with the FE exchange on our last cruise!

The only "list" that I know of so far is the one for the dry wipe boards. There has been talk of other FE gift lists but I don't think those have been firmed up as they are waiting until after final payment .

I would like to offer up a suggestion. If Jeff could add a column on our list of cruisers if they are participating (soon) and then, if everyone could PM Jeff (which is a huge amount of work for Jeff but I would happily coordinate that part or help in some way) after final payment that they are paid and still participating then those folks that want to get started on making things could get moving. Those that we don't get any response to can be removed.

Just a thought... And Jeff - you have done an awesome job with the website and I am sorry if that would be a huge deal for you. If there is anyway that someone could be of assistance, do let us know.

Since you are new you will not be able to sent private mail yet to anyone. Once you have 10 posts (I think) you will be able to PM those you need to for signing up. Don't panic...the final sign-ups are not until Sept or so .. you have plenty of time!

Feel free to join in and post and you will be to 10 posts before you know it!

My DH and I liked the 2008 PC crossing so much we are doing it again. Like they have said, post questions, etc. until you reach 10 and then you can PM Jeff and get on the group list. Sign ups for most things have not started yet.

We did the '08 PC and just loved it. It won my husband over for cruising and cruising on DCL at the same time!!!!

Welcome from Northern California!

This will be our third cruise and our first through the Canal. Really looking forward to it. It will be DH, DS (10) and DD (6) and myself.

This will be a once in a lifetime cruise for us (mind you, so was the first DCL cruise! )

We are from Hemet so it will be an easy drive from the port to home. I am so glad I can buy to my hearts content and not have to worry about the weight! Is your 13 year old a boy or girl (please excuse if DD stands for daughter, I'm still learning the lingo)? This is so strange as the Wonder doesn't have an ocean quest...I wonder how my daughter will do in the lab as a 12 year old. Last year we were on the Magic, so she went to OQ. Does anyone know if the kids like the lab at 12?

Oh, I hope Haley and my daughter (Mikayla) can meet! She has made some wonderful friends on past cruises. In fact, we just got back from visiting a friend she met on the Medi cruise in Pennsylvania! The cruise is a treasure itself, but the friends you meet are the icing on the cake!
