don't care about the temp at Cabo, planning to spend the time at Cabo Wabo anyway.

Getting ourselves ready for cabo wabo. We had cabo wabo reposado 'ritas for lunch today at Cheeseburger in Paradise. Delish!!

I will keep that in mind. I am sure you already posted but could you please post the link to the company again??

Thanks!!!

Los Veranos Canopy Tour in PV. My husband, who also had back surgery will be at the bar waiting for me. I think it's $20 for non-zippers. They have a bar, little gift shop etc. Looks nice. I know he will hang (lol) out with the other non zippers. So hopefully you will consider it. PV is the location for us.

Thanks Tami, I couldn't remember the company's name and we did it through DCL so I don't have a web site for them.

It was really hot! I got in trouble with a CM for "heating the hallway" :rotfl2: We were having an open house where you could just go by and enjoy a verandah for part of the crossing if you wanted. So I had my balcony and front door open...a CM stopped and asked what was wrong with my room that I would have both doors open...I told him "nothing" and he said I was heating up the hallway quite a bit!

Oh well!

We have been asked to close our doors a couple of times. they really don't like them to be open. Oh, well. :confused3:)

We're meeting up with friends there as well that night, as well!

I would love to join you all! We are planning to do 2 or 3 nights pre-cruise at WDW too, so a meet would be awesome!

We were at CC on Dec 11 and although the water was a bit chilly, we got used to it within a few minutes. We really enjoyed the snorkeling and hope the water is not too much cooler. I wonder how much difference the temp will be? We missed the sunken Mickey and were hoping to catch it next time.

We will be staying a night at WDW. We are currently booked at Saratoga but hope to switch it to BLT at the 7 month mark. We plan to just hang out at DTD the evening of the 5th so we are open to a get together there. :goodvibes

Looks like we will have to start thinking of a time and place to meet. I remember in 2008 they met at the stage.

Carol

Would love to join but we love to stay and watch Fireworks at MK and then head back to the resort. Know we have just 1 more sleep till the ship!

All the more reason to start our planning on our FE, Secret Santa, etc for the PC cruise! It gives us something to look forward to.

Let the planning begin!! WooHoo!!

Wish some of you lived around here. We're bored with no spring trip to plan!

I wish you lived near to me too! You could help me with scrapbooking, and I could make you bread, bread and more bread! :goodvibes

I've nailed down bagels, sourdough, tortillas and next on my list are perfect buttermilk biscuits.

In light of all, I decided it was a night for comfort food, pot roast, gravy, mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. And buttered biscuits.

I may have actually gone around the twist. I made butter; - no really from cream, from scratch. I learned what "buttermilk" is! Whatever does it mean? :confused3:laughing:

I would be there in a heartbeat if I could only afford it,Kat:laughing:. My current scrapbook project is a combination recipe / story book - my lifelong love affair with food :rotfl:

I just kind of finished my first scrapbook. I call it my first because I had just done a couple of small ones before. This one is for my granddaughter. I started it with her sonogram pictures. Then I did approximately a page a month up until this March (she turned 3 in March). I am going to keep doing the months until September when we will all meet at WDW and then give it to her mother. I am really excited about how it turned out. I embroidered a blanket for her brother when he was born but didn't get anything done for her so this is her gift. I found I really like scrapbooking and have a lot more ideas. Now to just get started on the next one. :cool1::thumbsup2

I *knew* I wouldn't be able to keep up with you all :upsidedow

Of course, doesn't help that we've just had two weeks of school holidays, and trying to keep four kids entertained means I haven't been able to get within coo-ee of the computer most days ! Never mind, hopefully that will change once they go back to school next week (although I'm doing a week of graveyeard shift, so prob. won't get much time to post then, either !)

Anyway, to whoever asked eons ago (I read the first 3 or 4 responses to my last post)..... we get 4 weeks of paid annual leave in Australia, and some companies will also allow you to "buy or sell" leave as well. Further to that, some companies will allow you take more leave without pay. Hence, our 4 week overseas trip.

We are staying 4 nights in DL from Christmas, then 8 nights at WDW after that, then the PC cruise. DH and I both turn 40 towards the end of the year, so a Christmas/NY trip is perfect.

I'm still trying to get my head around everything associated with a DCL, so please bear with me. I do know that we'd love to take part in the FE exchange if one is arranged :thumbsup2

Also trying to figure out what we're going to need clothing-wise - sounds like everything from shorts to suits to sweaters ! I'm not quite sure how we're going to manage it all with so many flights :scared1:

Anyway, that's all from "Down Under" for now - hope you all are having a great weekend.

Cheers,
Sally :)

Hi Sally. I don't blame you for taking a 4 week trip if you can. You are getting to see and do so much.

Yes, it looks like we are going to need all kinds of clothes for all kinds of weather which is a bit of a pain to be honest. Layering is the best thing I think rather than taking many heavier clothes.

Happy Saturday everyone. A bit on the nippy side here and there was snow on the roof this morning although nothing on the ground. Plus super windy - although not the 60- mph winds that I heard were reported in Altoona, PA. Our trees are a swaying I will say.

I am all in for the planning to begin. I know we will do the FE and SM but the excursions are what are the most fun to think about for me.

And - gotta share, our youngest DS got an intern position with the Great River Shakespeare Festival in Winona, MN. I will miss his 21st birthday but I am planning a trip over the July 4th weekend to go up (or down, over and up) to see him. I know we raise them to go out into the world and do good things - but this is my baby and letting that last one go is going to be a problem, I can tell already. Funny, how proud and sad it can make you feel, all at the same time.

OK, have a great day everyone - I will check back later.

hey everyone! hope the weekend is going well for all :) just checking in and looking forward to beginning the planning of our activities, i will be in wdw may 15-22nd if anyone is around??

I too like to scrapbook. I have done 3. 1 from our Hawaii and Alaska cruise and one from Europe. Planning on doing one for this cruise. Save all the daily navigator's. We are now going to WDW for 3 nights in Aug crazy I know but it will be fun with my niece.
