Me too! They wouldn't let me watch Laverne & Shirley though - too much adult humour for them! So I spent the 80s watching it in reruns!

This is how I feel too. There's a DVD collection of his shows. I had to buy it. Bob and Emily were so funny. And Howard

I think MTM and Bob Newhart were, at their best, easily the funniest of this list.

I went with MASH for longevity and because it's the one I remember most.

All In The Family was strong at times, straining at others. I don't miss it's un-PC-ness (I don't think any era of television that has both Family Guy and South Park running, or even subtler stuff like 30 Rock and The Office, or most of drive time radio, could exactly be called censorious for political correctness) but I do miss shows that show people living in houses that AREN'T 3500 sq ft showroom displays, though.

The "dramas" on there I don't miss at all, but I remember liking Quincy a little.

Wasn't Taxi on in the 80s? I have to go Wiki that.

Well, in that case, Three's Company aired from '77 to '84, which would make it my #1 choice, but choosing from this list only, I went with Happy Days.
