Possums over here come a dime a dozen. That was definitely a baby one that you had in your room. So glad you had a relaxing afternoon on the loungers and a nice dinner at H&V.

I think I would have jumped, too if I had come across a critter like this first thing in the morning. I am normally OK with rodents, but I don't want them running wild while I am asleep. Looks like you had a nice day after this adventure.

Tuesday 23rd September

Once Upon a Burger

A kind friend and sent a birthday package to my room! It was not my birthday but it came with a note saying it could be opened. It was a great gift check out these star wars cookie cutters..

She knew I loved the Star Wars sugar cookies at HW & V now I can have them at home

She also included some cappuccino flavoured chips! What on earth! Jo was game to try them. Do you think she likes them?

This morning we wanted to post some postcards and a package so we found a local post office in a town called Celebration. Oh my this was so quaint! It was just like Storybrook in Once Upon a Time

There was even this store ...

We looked around town. What a great place. We found a lovely 1950's diner by the water front. We decided to come back there later for dinner

We parked up at Saratoga Springs to try the new bridge into DTD. We parked by the pool at Congress Park

We had lunch at The Earl then we were meeting a friend Dana. We had a lovely chat exchanging gifts and having fun. She got us some wonderful gifts one of my favourite was some squeezey hawaiian punch that you add to water to flavour it. I enjoyed adding it to milk. Oh I cried when that ran dry!

After we meet with dear Dana we looked around DTD and found the Co-Op. Oh my. That was a mistake. We were to loose fortunes in here over the course of the vacation lol. I got Jo a nice Disney Vera Bradley purse despite her protest. She was not to be separated from this again lol..

Afternoon we rested by the pool. Next up a cheeseburger in paradise..

I know re Jo lol! The bridge was great and we took a photo but I can't find it! How odd! If I do I will post it thank you for reading!

The afternoon by the pool was delightful. Whilst Jo snoozed I realised it was feeding time for the animals. So keen as mustard I went along to the viewing area by the pool.


When evening arrived we showered and dragged our weary bodies from doing nothing into Celebration again. We found a cute pet store and got this cute toy for Huey ... Sniffy & Co lol..

Then it was time to score some food.

Wonderful place...

We both tried a burger. It was out of this world, galaxy and universe delicious. 10/10 the longhorn had a new rival in town plus it's nice to support local buisness I feel. The staff were very nice.

It was a great meal and evening! On the way home we stopped at Publix a Supermarket we don't have in the UK and we find very nice. But being English we were very surprised by this in the store!

We have nothing like that back home! Rest up and tv shows the rest of the evening.

Tomorrow AK and afternoon packing for the cruise

DH would love to choose his own lobster like that. Of course once he'd chosen it I wouldn't know what the heck to do with it to cook it!! Probably haven't even got a pot big enough lol!

thank you Jo's comment was at least the lobster was fresh lol... My Dad had a bad experience with lobster once. He worked a lot on the Channel Islands off the coast of England and France. They are famous for Lobster. He ate it often. One time it was not good for him and he was very ill oh my! Later I would tease him with my little mermaid Sebastian toy and the sight of this plushy toy lobster would make him go green lol..

My DH loves seafood! I'm sure he ate his own bodyweight in crab claws the day we boarded the Magic in August! He always eats loads of it when we are at my parents caravan in Cromer, Norfolk too!

Ha ha funny! My DH loves seafood! I'm sure he ate his own bodyweight in crab claws the day we boarded the Magic in August! He always eats loads of it when we are at my parents caravan in Cromer, Norfolk too! EDIT: Woo hoo! that was post no 1000 for me!! Claire

how nice your parents have a caravan in Cromer! Congrats on posts! They always seems to do a fabulous seafood buffet at Cabanas at lunch
