Good Morning Everyone!

I have not been on much in the past week or so and had fallen behind...but I am all caught up now! Love the DTD shopping pictures. I can feel my bank account being sucked dry just looking at all the things I would love to purchase. I also love Goofy's Candy. I have a huge sweet tooth and my favorite is the apples with chocolate and nuts. Believe it or not those used to be a snack on the DDP. I think that stopped in 2008. It was a very sad day!

Memom, I am sorry about your kitty. I hope he is doing much better when you return home from school today.

We are suppose to leave early in the morning for our short but fun trip. We are staying at Pop and on Fri we will do the MK all day and then the beach on Sat & Sun. The only problem is my DD is very sick. She is running a 102+ temp and complaining of severe headaches (which she never has). I took her to the dr yesterday thinking she may have strep. Unfortunately, it is a virus...you know has to run its course. Please say a prayer for her. I am really not sure what to do....whether to go or not. I feel so badly for her...she looks like she feels horrible and she was so excited about our trip. I am also concerned that the rest of us stay well. I don't think it is the type of bug you can just keep going with.

Anyway...I may be back on this evening. If not, I hope you have a wonderful and safe trip.

Our puppy, Penny came back Sunday (while I was out of town). My dad said he thought long and hard how to lure her in (because every time we called her name, she ran in the other direction). Finally, he decided to make chicken wings for them for dinner, then told my sister to take a wing outside. Sure enough, that did the trick. Penny loves her some chicken. We are so happy to have her back home.

You know, I've never been in the Rainforest Cafe gift shop at AK?

Today is the start of a new term, as I say with the beginning of every term, I hope I manage to squeeze in my DIS time without falling to far behind.

Hum..... MeMom now that you mention Bo I don't remember seeing him this trip. Now I didn't look for him because we had issues that day.(long story) But, let's just say we spent alot of time by that truck and I didn't notice Bo at all. He could have been there and I was to distracted to notice.

Ohhhhh MeMom I hope your kitty is feeling better today. It is so hard when our animals are sick. My little guy has an extremely sensitive stomach and is on a strict diet...no handouts..nothing. On occasion he will pick up something off the ground---he is quick like lightning-- and then it is all downhill from there. He suffers from pancreatitis and it is very painful and makes me feel helpless. Luckily I know the signs and am able to get him on medication quickly. I am sure it will take a bit for the medicine to kick in and start mending your kitty and I hope you see a marked improvement when you get home this evening

On another note I laughed so hard at the missing Bo picture! And did Brooklynn ride TOT and more so did she like it?!!

It was quite a day. We walked to all three places. It was overcast in the morning, but not raining, so that was perfect. The sun came out while we were in the library, and it was beautiful by the time we got to the train station and the picnic. Six teachers, a P.E. teacher, a plain clothes detective, a baby in a stroller, and 125 kids walking down the street could have been interesting for those driving by.

Kitty is not feeling well at all. He can only move his back legs enough to scoot. He's going to have to go to a second vet, because I see no improvement, and he is not eating or drinking.

I had a kid go nuts today and get sent home, the field trip, a half hour conversation with Sallie Mae about getting Drew's loan paid, and the cable guy at the house reprogramming a code that went out in their system. I have report cards to finish, packing to do, and a sick kitty. I wish I could be excited, and I know I will be, but right now, there is just too, too much stuff going on.

I'm very disappointed that what the vet said would happen didn't happen. He had me encouraged yesterday, but today I think he didn't realize the extent of the sickness.

I know what you mean about DIS time. I haven't been a good DIS friend lately. School has zapped me.

Just let us know whenever you find out what time you want to meet. 4 or 5, I guess, if your dad's shift is done?

I was hoping to come home to a halfway normal cat, but he is not good at all.

Jill will have to remind me if they rode then or if they got Fastpasses and did it later - or both. Brooklynn did ride it, though.

I've been trying to find out information on the internet about the cat's symptoms. There's something about a blood clot settling in the spine, and it says it is painful. If that is what it is, I do not want him to hurt for one minute more. Drew is going to take him to a different tomorrow and see what they say, and we'll go from there. I tried to get him to take water and food, but no luck. He's a sad little boy.

Jill is going to ask a vet friend at church tonight and see what he suggests.

On a good note, Jarvis said his mom came out of ICU, so she is coming through something they weren't sure she would. He said he appreciated all the good thoughts.
