What a great party!! Love the cake and the gifts were so neat! Brooklynn looked so happy. By the way Jill, I loooove the pictures on your wall of the girls! They are beautiful.

What a great party Jill! You and your mom are so creative with your parties and get-togethers!
Jill did an awesome job with Brooklynn's party. It was a nice day - a little hot, so playing outside on the big waterslide was the perfect activity to keep the kids busy and happy. Brooklynn and Bella are blessed to have many people who love and care for them. It was a very nice day for everyone.
Here a few more pictures from Toy Story party day.
Jarvis appears to be closely inspecting his corn dog nuggets.
Someone was acting silly.
While all the other children were eating cake, Bella got the pool to herself.
Brooklynn opened presents after everyone left.
These are from today's beach party.
This is a poor man's Stormalong Bay.
You know when you eat with us, there is often some kind of game or craft.
Today, everybody was supposed to make something to put on the 'beach'. Here is Brooklynn making a ball.
You can see the remnants of my starfish in that one, too.
Bella kept saying 'watty' (water).
I guess Timon is responsible for the sand that is all over the floor already.
Jarvis always is so nice to me and participates happily in my crazy craft sessions.
Brooklynn and Tanya felt like they should get dolled up for the beach.
We drank out of official Disney resort and park cups.
This table held cups and was a condiment bar.
Tanya and John making their crafts.
Tanya made a shell. When John got his paper and scissors, we had to instruct him that this was to be things found on a beach. No robots, computers, or electrical things. So, he opted for simple machines. He made a shovel and a rake.
We ate at:

Here is our finished beach. The sandcastle belonged to Spencer. Flamingo in Boat was a masterpiece by Jarvis. It appears that a fish has jumped up out of the water and is about to bite the flamingo in the rear feather region! Bella chose to make a 'ba'.
After the real food, there was ice cream!
Spencer had to leave shortly after lunch. Brooklynn is the blur here running to catch him and tell him goodbye.

The boy in the pink cast is Brandon's brother, Drew. Our Drew is still traveling back from Ohio, unfortunately, so he missed it all. I was not happy about that.
Brooklynn called him 'the Drew that belongs to you' today after she met the other Drew. I am going to be calling him 'the Drew that I am going to choke' when he gets home!

The last few minutes of family/friend togetherness before the tears started flowing.
We cried in the driveway again. Trent hates for me to cry, because it makes him cry, but I can't help it. It makes me cry to see him snuggling with those girls and giving big man hugs to his friends and then wrapping Jill up in a long-lasting embrace.
We sure do miss him. It would make it easier if we could be together about once a month, but money is definitely an object in accomplishing that. We are counting down the nine Mondays until fall break week and our next Disney trip now.
It has been a wonderful weekend in many ways. We are so blessed to have good family and friends and homes and together times.

She said funny things that made me laugh, so I wasn't crying when we hung up.

What a great weekend! 2 parties, the 3 F's, family, friends and lots of food!
You will have a week with students to distract you from missing the kids.
Only 9 more weeks? No problem, you can do that.
I just had the and insane Fri., busy Sat. and an almost peaceful Sun. until I encountered the one who could not be pleased. I am home now and tired.

Ah, what a great way to spend the weekend! You always have so much fun when you get together as a family!!! I love all of the Toy Story party pictures and the Beach Club pictures! So nice to see all of you together again with Trent and Jarvis providing plenty of comic moments! I can almost hear Bella giggling with Bubby sitting on her. Brooklyn must have been in heaven from the Little Mermaid stuff from Miss Anita Wigd! I want to come over and play with all of her new toys!!! I am so sorry to hear Drew didn't make it home in time.

And aw...I hate goodbyes too. Seriously, for the first month of school, I cry every weekend when I have to go back and it's time for me to say bye to the little guy.

Another great party. And even better family time together. I'm tearing up after reading the last update. My oldest graduated college in May and is gearing up to move far away. He and his wife are back home with us as of Friday but as soon as she get a position now that she has her certification they will be leaving. I'm going to enjoy what time I have now and postpone those tears for as long as I can.

Omg, I remember Mancala (my mom got rid of a lot of my old board games a few years back so I've forgotten about it until I saw your picture)! I loved that game. I used to play it with my grandma and sister.

So glad to have a second to check in on the birthday parties. We had a big family party with cousins, aunts and uncles and my grandma and I thought of your party down in TN/AL this weekend. Everything looked so fun... Jill I could sure use that darling Toy Story cake up here in say 12 days for Luke!
