Just popping in to say Hi. Been crazy busy finishing work at my old job and relocating to our new town. Now going back and forth between the old house and new house checking on stuff, mowing the lawn, etc. Just found out we have showing tonight... think good thoughts about a speedy house sale for us please! pixiedust:

Good luck to all the teachers who have gone back or soon will! Hope you have a wonderful school year.

I do believe I have it. Wait a day or so and then give the answer, for those who might want to figure it out, as well.

I was going to post the answer today but I can wait another day. I think this puzzle gives the brain a workout, even a disney fan. It is not impossible but not easy either.

Somehow we inherited a ceramic N O E L and between hiding the L and changing the letters around and spelling L E O N, we have our Christmas fun.

We have a wooden block set with the letters N O E L, also. My son's middle name is Leon, so the girls think it's great fun to change the blocks around. :sad2: :rotfl:

Song title + Song title = Movie

Can you decipher each song title and add them up to figure out what movie they are from?

1. AN + FLM + AWNW = A

2. ADiaWYHM + ML + BBB = C

3. HttPA + OUaD = SB

4. TBN + MOH + TiM = TJB

Now that you have figured out what movie is suggested by the song titles, take your answers and figure out what they all have in common to figure out the final answer.

5. A + C + SB + TJB = MPbtWDC

Got it! I found it easier to work backwards. :confused3

I must be getting to be like you, posting on here early in the morning.

Hope your first day back was a good one.

Why are you up so early these days, Pops???

Well, we are two for two now. Today's workshop was not bad, either. :thumbsup2

I am loving the Disney alphabet game! So many different places and ideas to think about. Liam was pretty sure that one of the Fs was from Hollywood Studios. I guess I have some letter sound teaching to do!

I hope school is going well for those that are back. We have a little under two weeks here. I am savoring every last minute!

Smart boy! One of them is. ;)

Yep, enjoy these couple of weeks. Do you guys get an October break, or do you get out a full week at Thanksgiving?

Hey MeMom,
hope you had a good first day back to school!

Pretty good. One more day of meetings, and the students come half-day Thursday.

Hope all is going well with being back to school!

Why yes I did. and it DID work!

Wow, oh wow! I can't believe she's that big already.

And it made me realize...

next year it will be Henry!

All of our DIS kids will have such good times as they start pre-school. I don't know how many years their joy will last, but I think it is pretty safe to say they will enjoy pre-school.

I can imagine you have been very busy. Seems like this is just a really busy time for so many of us right now. Our report is lagging. Hopefully, after this weekend, we can get back on track.

I think everyone has fallen asleep waiting for the report to start back, so you can reveal whenever you want. It took me a second to figure out what it was about, but when it hit me, it was easy from there.

That's the way I did it, too. :goodvibes

I was stretching it to get an N, so this one may be hard. I'm also adding a cropped past one, as well, since this was going to be one of my new pictures, but I didn't get over there on this trip.

That's it for tonight. A couple of those were super easy. :thumbsup2 Sorry I have not had much DIS time this week with school starting and trying to get things ready for this weekend. We'll load you up with party pictures this weekend.

Smart boy! One of them is. ;)

Yep, enjoy these couple of weeks. Do you guys get an October break, or do you get out a full week at Thanksgiving?

Liam will be so happy to hear he's right. He's been known to smack his brother when he's been proven wrong. :sad2:

We do not get an October break or a full week at Thanksgiving. We get 2 weeks at Christmas, a week in March and a 4 day weekend around Easter. The thing that gets difficult about that schedule is trying to figure out how to schedule a trip to see Grandma and Grandpa (a good 5.5 hour drive) without missing too much school.

OOOH...a couple of tough ones in there...and I am exhausted LOL!!! No MeMom we don't have students until the 24th but I have been attending new teacher and science trainings since the 2nd and 8-4:30pm is making for long days and I'm tired!!!!

I can't wait to see pictures from the party!!! It's going to be a blast!

I was way behind, but now I'm caught up.

Loved the puzzle. I enjoy doing them too, but never find the time anymore. We did do some after Gustav hit and we didn't have power for almost a week.

The alphabet game is great, I'm really stumped on a bunch of them but so excited when I do know some.

Danielle starts middle school tomorrow. Michelle doesn't go back to LSU until the 23rd.

With all the getting ready for school I didn't even get on the whole weekend.

New dog that likes to go out at 6 am and a new job that starts a bit later. It allows me some DIS time before anyone else gets up.

I love the alphabet game! My favorite letter, M, was part of one of my favorite stores. ;)

I'm glad the first day back to school went well for you! I'm going back September 8, because classes start the 7th, but since I only have class M/W/F I lucked out by not getting a full week right away and only one math class to trudge through, which is fine with me!

I can't wait to see party pictures! This weekend is going to be craaaaazy because of Charles's sister's wedding on Sunday. I can't believe it has come up so fast after getting ready for a year. I think that finally bringing home my bridesmaid dress Friday made it that much more real.

I only have on math class this term too. It gets harder every week. The majority of the math I'm learning I'm sure I won't need as a kindergarten teacher.

Glad we could save your household from one brotherly smack, then!

I liked having the week at Thanksgiving, but they changed it to a week in October, which I like, too. I'd really like both. ;)

The last "O" is stumping me! Hmmm...

Fun! I tried to make some really easy and some harder. :)

We are going to have a fun weekend, and both 'parties' have a Disney theme.

You're surprised, right? :goodvibes

School days can wear a person out. ::yes::

Neither Jill nor I have been here much this week. Lots going on. I miss my DIS buddies, though, when I can't check in.

That's good. New job as in new school or just new department?

We'd love to see a picture of the puppy, too. :)

Have fun at the wedding. That's an exciting event!

Yeah, I should have zoomed in a lot closer on that M! I think I'll do another alphabet game next summer and do a better job with it. There are plenty more letter opportunities!

Oooh..some of these O's are stumping me!

I bet you walked right under the last one not long ago. ;)

Good luck, and stick with those studies. It will pay off in the end.

I know that firs O!!! :rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:

Taken with you in mind, I assure you.
That's another one I should have zoomed in on.
When we all pass Disney Alphabet Test 1, I'm going to make Test 2 more challenging! ::yes::

Caught up! Thanks for the encouraging word about homeschooling. I don't always hear those. It feels good to hear them from a great teacher like you. I hope you have a great weekend, can't wait to see the pictures.

I hope school is going good for you. I am looking forward to your party pictures. Lexi is starting kindergarten this year but I am homeschooling her so I don't have to send her off, but I still can't believe she is old enough all ready.:goodvibes

Very exciting for you!
Where did you go for your vacation?

We go to Cape Cod, Massachusetts every summer. We rent a house for 1 weeks with friends of ours that have kids the same age and then the 2nd week is with the whole family, us, MIL, FIL, SIL and my mom. The same crew that went on our GG to WDW in 08. We have been doing it for 12 years now since DS was born. Very relaxing, just beach, biking and reading some good books. just what i need before a 9 day vacation to WDW. :rotfl2:
