sounds like a plan!

for some reason these creep me out.

In a mine, in a mine,
Where a million diamonds shine!

now i have this song in my head! :rotfl:

Enjoyed the walk through Toontown this evening. :goodvibes You got some really great detail pictures from Mickey's house.

Thank you for finding two new shirts for Clay for me!  I told him I'd found him some new shirts and showed him the pictures of the two Grumpy shirts. He likes both of them but he really liked the one that says "Are we having fun yet?" because he says that to the guys at work all the time. LOL

Those Mickey's were bigger than Bella!:laughing:

Brooklyn is a girl after my own heart, spinning away on the tea cups.

Bella is so cute even when she is destroying store displays. LOL! She is always on the go these days, isn't she?

Okay that one seemed to work so I am going to try and load a few more to catch us up to where we are now in the report.

Great update!! Boy oh Boy look at all those THINGS!!!! such fun shopping with the eyes! Love that about your TRs!!! The pics of Toontown, so nice -- strange that soon that will be gone!! :sad2: I love their houses. So cute inside! Such creativity went into them. Even though Barnstormer is a 3 second wonder, my kids still like it!!! I love that little shop the Dwarves place.. I bought an adorable magnet there!

I have no idea how I haven't read any of your trip reports before. But I'm here now and I'm loving it so far. I thought it was kinda cool when I saw you were from TN and your daughter was from AL, because I live in TN and my mom who went to Disney with us last year and will go again this year, lives in AL. Kinda cool.

From just reading this report, I do have one question for you. How do you guys manage to be able to take so many trips to Disney World. I'm so jealous. We have been lucky with taking our DS 4 times already and he is only 4. I can't imagine being able to go as often as you guys.

We won't be there from October until March, so someone will have to cover all the months in between.[/QUOTE]

What are your March dates? By chance is it anywhere around/near the 10th to the 20th? :rolleyes1

Now that I have knocked them all over, let's go do something else!

:rotfl2: Oh look at that innocent face!!

Wonderful Toontown pictures! It is VERY strange to think that won't all be there someday soon. I'm glad it will still be there in September (as far as I know anyway!), so I can see it since we missed it in December! I sure would love to know their schedule for the refurb...

Where am I?

Such cool detail in the store! I had never noticed before. :thumbsup2

The Happy shirt made me laugh out loud! Very cute!

for some reason these creep me out.

They have no mouths. Or noses. Or necks! Very weird!

Love the videos Jill! Thanks for posting them.

Declan thought the pics of Bella and the Mickeys/Minnies was funny.:lmao:

Bella is so cute! I love the picture right after she pulled the Mickey's off the shelf.

You get so many good details in your pictures. Things that I never would have noticed before.

I'm going to miss Toon Town.

I guess I feel like I have taken the 'normal' pictures so many times over, so it's fun to look for something new. Disney World takes things to a higher level with their themes. If you're shopping in a mine, then that's what it looks like overhead. Notice the ceiling in the Splash Mountain gift shop or in Sir Mickey's, etc. They really go the extra mile.

Toontown is a nice little place. Maybe they'll end up salvaging it.

I enjoyed walking through Toon Town with you! I loved Mickey's holiday shoes next to his bed!

I really wanted to get a decent number of Toontown pictures before it changes into whatever it is going to change into.

Those Mickeys were bigger than Bella but she sure took care of them!
She seemed quite pleased with herself when she was finished with her work...

So nice that you can spend time her while John and Jill take Brooklynn on the bigger rides!

I love that idea for the math board! I think you need to write a book for the Disney lovers classroom! "Mathmagical" What a great word!!

She does seem rather pleased with her work, doesn't she?

I can't decide whether to use Philharmagic Mickey or Sorceror Mickey. Jill and I like Philharmagic Mickey, because he's different and attraction specific, but the kids might understand Sorceror Mickey better. They both have the 'magic' hats. I am going to take both to school and see what looks best.

This trip really worked out nicely for us being able to switch off with the girls. I didn't ride most of the big rides this time. I either went and did something with Bella or just kept her at the room. I didn't mind at all. I have ridden them all plenty of times, so my contribution to the fun of the whole group was being the babysitter. If I am in Disney World with my family, I couldn't care less if I ride anything ever. Following Bella around was a fun attraction for me. :lovestruc

Also, there were a few times when Brooklynn and I stayed at a park for a few more rides or attractions while Jill, John, and Bella went on back to the room. It was very nice to have the one-on-one time with each of the girls. I had a great trip!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, and thank you for the Dwarfs' Mine pictures!!!

I have been kicking myself for not getting the "Don't worry be 'Happy'" shirt when we were there in December, so I'm glad to see it is still there!

What are everyone else's thoughts on the newer uses of characters on the shirts (i.e. the dwarf shirts, and the Prince Philip shirt that says, "Sorry girls, I'm taken.") I really like them, but have wondered if other people had the same reaction.

Bella appears to be a demolition prodigy, a very cute demolition prodigy

I like that shirt, too, but the teacher in me wants to put some punctuation in there! :teacher:

Yes, Bella is quite the demolisher of things!

sounds like a plan!

for some reason these creep me out.

now i have this song in my head!

They had those dolls everywhere. Lots of different ones.

Want me to give you a new song for today? ;)

That shirt would be good for any Monday morning at school, too. :goodvibes

I love that picture of Brooklynn. As you can see, the hair-do is already coming down.

Bella is definitely on the go!

Lol aww Bella & the Mickey dolls! She's always up to something

Isn't she, though? She's a little devil hiding behind that angel face! :cutie:

Barnstormer is a very short ride. Brooklynn decided she needed to go on it several times this trip.

I will have to look at the magnets the next time I am in that shop. I was mostly concentrating on just getting pictures rather than looking for things to buy.

Once a purple dog, always a purple dog!

I think that one changed breeds - from poodle dog to weiner dog in just a few short hours.

I am always amazed at the people who can make those balloon animals. They make me nervouse. I always think they are going to pop!

Maybe you can make an AL or TN DIS meet sometime, then. :thumbsup2

For me, I don't spend money on anything at home, so my fun is Disney World. I rarely buy new clothes, I don't smoke, drink, or eat out, don't go to movies or shows, don't buy jewelry or things for the house. My extra money is my Disney money. We stay value most of the time, and I eat a lot of peanut butter sandwiches. I'll let Jill add any tips that she wants to.

I am not sure when our spring break is. I feel sure it will be somewhere in the teens, though, so we will probably see you. Maybe we'll get to see Henry awake and the kids will get to play together. :)

Love the videos Jill! Thanks for posting them.

Declan thought the pics of Bella and the Mickeys/Minnies was funny.

He would probably laugh - or maybe rolls his eyes - a lot if he followed the girls around in a store. They enjoy playing with the things on the shelves. We always put them back in place before we move on to the next area, though.

love it! the look on brooklynn's face is hilarious. i think most kids are a little unsure of the mad hatter. luke wouldn't go anywhere near him. he said he had a funny nose!

She was a bit reserved, wasn't she? It got very loud in there pretty much as soon as he got to her. I am not sure she heard everything he said.

**********************************

When I was putting up the last pictures, I was a bit confused because what I was remembering in my head and what I was seeing in pictures were conflicting. Jill reminded me this morning that we had gone to see the Princesses, and the reason I didn't remember is because I was doing video, so those didn't load. I had one lone picture of Aurora, but sometimes my camera will throw a picture in a random spot. Anyway, she will hopefully unconfuse the situation and the events later on today.

Also, at some point in time, John figured out I had the date thing on on the camera, and he turned that off. I will be glad when that goes off, because I don't like that at the bottom of the pictures.

I am trying to decide if I want to go to school for a few more hours today. I could finish my last bulletin board, and I want to help another teacher who seems to have a long way to go yet, since she had to change rooms. I probably will, since I don't really have anything important to do around here. When I get all my Disney stuff in the room, I'll share pictures. I got an e-mail yesterday that Rafiki is on his way! :woohoo:

I think I have found some new t-shirts! Thanks MeMom.

The video with the Mad Hatter is cute but I don't think I have seen Brooklynn so reserved in a video before. :goodvibes

:yay: Sounds GREAT! We don't have definite dates yet, just in that range somewhere. Joe wanted the spring and I instantly said it had to be during the F&GF! :goodvibes We can keep each other posted as the trips develop.

I read one of your responses to another DISer about following around Bella being an attraction - and just the great balance you had between group time and being able to spend time with each girl and how great that was. It made me grin ear to ear. It really does sound like a magical trip!!!!!

I look forward to pictures of your room! You teachers are so creative, I remember as a child being in awe of the room decorations on the first few days of school! I bet the kids LOVE yours with all the Disney stuff!

Loved your last update - that picture of Bella looking so satisfied with herself after pulling all the Mickey's off the shelf is priceless!

It's been a long time since I've walked through Toontown so I really enjoyed all of your detailed pictures, seems a shame that it's all going away.

As always, I have thoroughly enjoyed your update! Thanks for all of the great pictures you take! Like a PP said, you notice the details. It really helps put a lot of "Disney" in my ho-hum days!

Whenever I need a Disney fix your pics always do the trick! I love all the details you take pics of!
Looking forward to seeing pics of your room!

Now that I have knocked them all over, let's go do something else!

She looks so proud of herself.:cutie:

Love looking at Disney through your eyes. I can't wait to see it with my eyes.:rotfl:

Love the videos. Brooklynn looks like she is not sure who the Mad Hatter is. Alexia gets the same look on her face when she isn't sure of something too.
