I need a little Disney in my day. I got word this evening that my grandfather passed. We were expecting it for a few days now. I'm just happy that I'm here and don't have to scramble to get here.

Another day is done. I left cold breakfast stuff for tomorrow morning - strawberry-cream cheeses pastries, honey buns, Pop-tarts, cereal, and donuts - and I am taking breakfast off. The girl counselors and camp nurse (not a real nurse, but she can remove ticks and bandage stubbed toes) are going to oversee that for me. That will give me a day not to have to get on my feet right away. They have had a good hot breakfast every day, so I don't feel bad. I'll fix them another one on Friday, too. This morning we had ham, eggs, biscuits, sausage, gravy, cinnamon toast, donuts, and cereal. I always have fruit out, too.

The kids are having a carnival night, so they are getting to dunk the counselors in a dunking booth. Supper was carnival food, with the favorites being corn dogs and tater tots. Cooking for these guys is pretty easy - simple foods go over very well.

If I can get the energy later tonight or in the morning, I will put up some more pictures. I have enjoyed getting a few pictures from tinkgurl and xoktenox. I know they are having such a good time. I've been out of the loop for the past few days, but weren't they also meeting Jackie and family?

Trent was so happy to see his girls. Bella is looking at him as if to say, "Where the heck have you been???"

She knew that there would be flying involved.

Then Brooklynn wanted to show Bubby her purple dog from Old Key West.

As you can see by Trent's expression, he is not convinced it is a dog of any breed he has ever known.

Brooklynn said she wanted it to be a hot dog.
The purple hot dog hung around for pretty much all of the trip.

I stayed at Pop with the girls, so that they could get to bed, and Trent, his friend, Tanya, and Jill and John went to eat at Earl of Sandwich and then to Walmart to get diapers and groceries. Jill said Walmart was Black Friday busy at like 11:00 at night!

Since she had not been feeling well, I told Jill she could skip out on the 1900 Park Fare breakfast, and I would just take Brooklynn by myself, but she said she wanted to go. I am very glad she was feeling better and was ready to go, even though she had done that 11:00 Black Friday Walmart thing on July 1st.

I had failed to take floor pictures on my last visit there, so I got several this time.

A Park Fare CM saw me taking that picture and commented on the beauty of the flowers.
He said that they were changed every day.
Every day!
That's a LOT of money!
Wonder what they do with the day old flowers?

Awww, I get teary eyed when I see pics of Trent and the girls because I know they are so excited!!!!!!

I can't wait to see the rest of the 1900 PF pics. We are thinking of taking Hollie in February!!

Oh, and I got the encyclopedia book! I ended up buying 5 of them!!

I love seeing pictures of Trent and the girls, too. They adore each other.

1900 Park Fare was nice, but not great. I am glad we did it just to say we did, but I don't feel a strong need to do it again. I am glad we had our special big girl morning with Brooklynn, though. I really want to do a Crystal Palace breakfast. I have only eaten dinner there. Also, Brooklynn has done the Akershus Princess breakfast, but I have not, so I'd like to do that with both girls.

I am feeling good, just a little tired and the feet are very swollen!
But, thats my own fault for not staying off of them.

I bet the Akershus one is really good! There are so many I want to try to just say we did it but we never stay long enough. We would be eating more than anything!!

LOL!!!! They were such a good price and I knew I would want one for Hollie and Hannah. Then I got one for my neice. Then I thought, hmmm, I need to keep one for Hollie to read through and one to just have just in case!

I am glad that you are enjoying camp. I cannot imagine all the cooking you are doing. I am teaching VBS this week and am beat by noon. I think getting my three kids there (literally my back yard) and then running around with my gonna be second graders and teaching is wearing me out. It is so nice though to be spiritual with kids, I miss that at school!

Love the pics.. you can see Trent misses his girls...so Park Fare was not all that... interesting. I am really thinking dinner might be on our list next trip. The problem is my list is longer than the days we will be there! Do you have summer dates yet?

ooooohhh I have only done the Crystal Palace Breakfast. Great variety and great characters. Getting in at 8:05 and if you can eat pretty quickly and get characters to come around quickly you will still make rope drop at the castle.

I just photos of Trent and his rats together! You can tell how much they all love each other. at Brooklynn's dog -- I've never seen a purple bumpy hot dog before either. If I had, I am pretty sure I'd no longer be hungry!

those floor pictures are great! i've never even noticed the floor at the GF. another thing i will have to look at next time! and another reason i love disney....always discovering new things.

they could send those day-old flowers my way and i'd appreciate them!
