A cab is definately the fastest way, it's only a couple of miles at most and a 5min ride, and probably less than $10.
Or you would have to take a bus to DTD and then catch another bus to the Beach Club, figure about an hour travel time, depending how often the buses are running at that time of morning.
Will buses be running to DHS at 7am?
In either case you still need to allow at least an hour.
If there were sidewalks you could walk to the Beach Club in 20-25 min.

The buses start running at 6:30ish to DHS. But, they don't run as frequently as the regular buses do...so for an 8am ADR at BC, I would be out at the DHS bus stop no later than 6:45. When you get to DHS, walk towards the canal, with DHS on your left, parking lot on your right. You will see signage to BW. Follow the sidewalk, go down towards the canal along the sidewalk and keep walking. It will take you about 20 mins to get to BC. You can head left at the end of the sidewalk, which will take you up a hill (behind BW entrance) to the bridge that runs between YC and S/D. When you get to the bridge, go right to YC, and then on to BC. Or you can head right at the end of the sidewalk, and walk along the boardwalk itself, and over to BC that way. They are probably equidistant.
A cab will run you about $10, tip included, and take less than 10 mins. That is really the way I would go.
we took bus to dhs (5 min ride) then walked to friendship boat to the right of the dhs entrance waited 5 min then boat ride was about 15 minutes and we were there. On way back we took cab from boardwalk hotel entrance stopped at hess for a 12 pack of soda then dropped us off at pop and total was 8.00 on meter plus tip. It was really easy. Love cape may enjoy!
oops i thought you had an 8pm ressie, i would probably cab it for an 8 am to save valuable time
