From past experience will there be another offer?

Anyone know if there will be another offer soon - when current one finishes end Jan? I know it's like asking for a crystal ball but wondered if anyone knew from experience roughly?

Also, when does the new brochure come out - I read April but the surly CM I just spoke to said end May/beg June - I didn't trust anything he said to me so thought I'd check with the DIS experts

You can never tell when the offers are going to happen. I thought the new brochure was already out

which half term are you talking about? early June? The brochure has been out for quite a while already which covers those dates. The next brochure will be for winter 2012 onwards.

and yes, I'd imagine if DLP has pulled its offers on its website, within about a week there will be another offer advertised - thats the way it tends to go (ie never pay full brochure price).

Thanks for that - I thought I'd read on here that another brochure comes out in April but obviously not. I have the recent brochure.

I'll sit tight - nothing else to do really. Really can't see the hotels selling out like the chap was saying. I asked him if he could tell me how many hotel rooms had been sold/how many were left and he said he didn't have that information but we run the risk of not getting a room if we didn't book soon .

ETA - yes it is half term June - the CM seemed to think it was going to be very very busy!

I'm sure I'd seen on another thread that June half term (usually end of May) is not as busy as the school summer holiday period as French schools are not off then?

Hiya

I'm sure there will be another offer on soon, but whether it will include the June half term I don't know. The Monday and Tuesday of half term week are bank holidays in the UK because of the Queen's Jubilee - so a lot of people can have a 9 day holiday by just taking 3 days of annual leave; an ideal time to travel in my way of thinking.

I can't see that all the rooms in all the hotels in DLP are going to be full during that week - certainly not any time soon, but remember aside from the school half term and queen's jubilee, they also host conferences.

Fingers crossed that a better offer comes up soon for you, I'm sure it will work out somehow.

Thanks for the reassurance. I really feel that the CM was scaremongering . Why, I'm really not sure .

Julie - I agree it will be busy for travel full stop as most people are going to take advantage of the long break. I'm sure though that Disney won't be full to occupancy which is what he was inferring!

Actually, it's funny you mention conferences - the HNY has not shown any discount during this period on that week (or not since I've been looking and I have been a little while). I wonder if there is something going on there
