Okay, where was I, oh yes, I hardly said anything at all.
Well, we woke up at 4:00 AM on Mother's Day (May 9) so we could leave for the airport by 4:45 AM. My boys were up and excited to go by the time my parents arrived to drive us all to the airport. Although we had packed the night before, we still wound up running around in the morning before leaving for the airport having forgotten a few necessary items (my younger son's blanket, an important match box car or two, etc.)
Finally, we loaded into the car and we were off. Each of the boys had their own box of cereal, so they were happy and loading up on sugar for the trip! Without hitting traffic, we arrived at the airport pretty quickly. We unloaded the car, checked our bags, and went through security.
And then we waited to board. Whoever suggested using the early check-in with Southwest knew what they were talking about - we were the 20th - 24th people on the plane and it was nice and relaxing! Worth every penny IMO.
The boys were way too wound up to sleep, so my older son watched Star Wars on the little TV we brought and my younger son colored in his new Mickey Coloring book. And ate cereal. And ate more cereal. And drank juice. And ate. My younger son isn't called piglet for nothing.
Finally, we landed in MCO! Woo hoo!
Off to Magical Express we went, the line for the Poly was nonexistent... does this mean we missed the bus and would have to wait? Oh no... nope, the bus hadn't left yet, we hopped on board and were off.
45 minutes later we were walking into the Poly.
DH decided to check us in, which I had wanted to do, but I figured it's no big deal, since I did online check in it'll be fine.
But he doesn't spend his time here... he doesn't know all the tips I've learned... would it be alright? Would we be in Poly h*ll?
TBC...
