Well, my week off is coming to a close. I didn't get much done and I didn't update my TR nearly enough. What can I say?
So here's what I did this week:
Monday - got hair cut/colored, did tons of wash, took 5 bags of clothes and misc items to Goodwill. Soccer game!
Tuesday - Brian thought he broke his hand playing volley ball. I took him to a medical aide unit for an xray. The PA who saw him said no sports for a week.

Are you kdding me??????? His xray was negative, bad sprain. He wouldn't wear his brace because he thought the coach and trainer would ask for a note to play on Thursday. He is much better now and no one asked for a note!

I spent the rest of the afternoon shopping at Kohls and
Walmart. Got a few early Christmas presents.
Wednesday - went furniture shopping in Dover. I really want a new couch and love seat, but I didn't see exactly what I was looking for. Of course, the ones I really liked were super expensive. So I decided to look around a bit more. Didn't get to any more furniture stores this week.
I hit ACMoore, Kohl's again (found nothing), and TJ Maxx. I got a new trash can and towels for my bathroom redo. I also got a really pretty comforter set for my bed. We have a king bed and everything is so expensive, but this was a reasonable $69 for quilt, shams, 3 pillows, and a bed skirt. I think it was marked down because it was a spring/summer theme - mostly white with green trim. It matches my carpet perfectly and I love it. It really adds an upscale look to my bedroom. I also bought a few more christmas presents.
That afternoon I had my coaching session with Joe Simmons who told me I had a beautiful voice (I was so excited) and a lot of potential. He also really liked one of the psalm settings I wrote. I felt really good about that. I then drove Joe to our other church were he had more sessions to give.
Thursday - I offered to drive Joe to our closet Dick's. He was looking for a tax free running shirt. I had to go to
AAA and buy a discounted park ticket for a friend's daughter who is going to Disney next week. My discounted ticket was $18 cheaper than Disney. I took Joe to lunch and we booked it back to church, so he could start his sessions again.
Thursday night, of course, was the big soccer game. We also had a wrap up dinner at church for Joe. Unfortunately, I had to eat and run to get to the game.
Friday - I finally made it to the Rehobeth outlets. It was a beautiful weather day and I filled my trunk with my purchases. I got a bunch of beautiful pictures at Kirkland's for my bathroom redo. They are gorgeous and so reasonable. I got 2 Christmas presents there. I bought my secret santa gift for church (adopt a family gift), visited Aeropostle (kids gifts), and Old Navy (got a bag full of shirts for like $20 bucks). Seriously, I got myself Tshirts for $2 and school shirts for $3. I did some other misc shopping, scoring a new pair of jeans and sweatpants for the kids. I stopped at the
Disney store (found nothing, although they had some awesome prices on Princess costumes), but I did get a new goofy jibbitz at the croc outlet.
So I powered shopped for 4 hours straight, then hoofed it back to pick up Brian from practice. I was exhausted last night!
So that was my week.
But that's really not why you are reading. You want to hear about what I did next at Disney. Soooooooooo, when I left off we had just gotten back from a fab day at DHS. Notice I have not complained about my feet for awhile. Not because they didn't hurt, but because my memory of my painful feet has faded. I do remember them really hurting that afternoon. Plust, my legs were so fatigued I could barely climb the stairs and I actually regretted turning down that room on the first floor. I honestly had to stop and eating landing to give my legs a rest. Not good. Not good at all! I also had taken to a non orthodox method of treating my blistered feet. I always carry bacitracin or neosporin with me. I have this thing about not cleaning a cut properly, so I like to have an antibacterial cream. Well, I started using that on my feet. And you know what - I think it actually helped. It cut down on the friction a bit. Or perhaps it was my imagination!
When we got back to the room I was so beat I decided to lay down on the bed for a few minutes. Well, you can guess what happened next. Yup.....I was out.....serious power nap action there. I woke up startled, thinking, "OMG what time is it?" Fortunately, we still had time for a quick trip to the pool before we needed to leave for dinner.
I almost forgot to show you guys our collection of towel animals. I think we had acquired this collection by our 3rd night.......
And here is our little window display......
We decided to go to the 60's pool because it was closer. Here's a picture of our dreaded stairs and the speaker that played that 70's music all day long:
Here's the obligatory Goofy picture that was right down the stairs from our room....
And here are some pics of the 60's pool:
We stayed at the pool from about 4:30 to 5pm. It had been a beautiful pool day, but we hit the pool as the sun was just starting to set. Since I had a few free minutes I decided to send a text to C and to Sunnie RN. I wished C a good flight in the morning and told her to text me if she still wanted to meet at MK. I texted Sunnie RN that I hoped she was having a great trip.
I didn't hear back from either of them and I was starting to feel a bit bummed.

I told Denny that I had hoped for a couple of Dis meets this trip, but I wasn't hearing back from anyone. Now - as you probably already know - I did finally hear back from C the next day. But to date....I have not heard a word from Sunnie RN. In fact, I still have not seen hide or hair of Sunnie RN. Where is she?????? Has anyone seen any posts from here. I sent her a pm when I got home and nothing. I am started to worry about her. She has even started a PTR before she left. So, if anyone has heard from Sunnie RN please post!
Around 5pm we went back to the room to get ready for dinner. Tonight was our final dinner at Artist Point. I scheduled it for 6pm thinking that it would give us time to do something after dinner. Some of the options I considered were: (1) a very quick trip into MK (2) nightviewing at AK (3) minigolf.
When we were walking to the car, I took a bunch of pictures along the lake. I am going to post those pics now. I did take them at various times through the week, so I can't remember which I actually took on this specific evening. I thought it would be better to post them all together......
