From Disney (Port Orleans) to Amway Centre

Sorry if this isn't strictly a Disney transport thread as such, but I am staying at Port Orleans and have tickets for an Orlando Magic game at the Amway Centre in Orlando. I understand a taxi would be around $70 each way so would like to take the bus. I have looked at the Lynx website but find it very confusing. Can anyone tell me, please, how best to get from P.O. to the Amway Centre by bus.

Did you use their travel planner? You'll take the number 50 bus to Lynx Central Station and then transfer to the number 300 sunrail.

It looks like it will take 1 hour and 40 minutes. Since you didn't specify the date and time of the game, I'm not sure if the bus will be running late enough to get you back.

Thank you Alesia, the game is 6 p.m. on Sunday 22 February. I will check out the Lynx web page again, and the travel planner. Now you've pointed me in the right direction with bus numbers it will, no doubt, be a lot easier to work out! It may be prudent to get the bus there but a taxi back. Do you know if taxis are easy to grab at Amway after a game? I presume I would need to make a booking?

I don't know if there will be taxis around or not, but I would just call Mears at (407) 422-4561 ask for one.
