Can anyone tell me how long this will take, if I wold use a bus, boat or walk. Point me to bus schedules 0on line, etc.

I want to make reservations at Kimonos but need to know how long it will take to get there from our hotel and then to Port orleans - Riverside afterwards - taking a 1 hour carraige ride with my DW2B at 8pm...

Also, if anyone know's if there is a place to grab a bottle of wine on the way to PO-Riverside that would be great...

It's a very easy walk from the Boardwalk to the Swan & Dolphin -- probably 5 minutes, depending on how fast you walk.

From there to POR -- fastest and most direct option would be a taxi. Another option is to use one of the parks or DTD for a bus transfer point. That late, I'd go for DTD.

I would grab a cab to POR, rather than hassle with a bus and have to switch someplace. You can buy a bottle of wine at most of the resort shops..not cheap, but you can get one. When you get to POR, I would suggest the boatride to DTD, then a bus back to your resort, if you have nothing else planned that evening. I love the boat to DTD..one of my favorite things about POR!

KIMOMO'S opens at 4 pm and does not take ressies unless they changed it.

paults - your right, no resies. I think we'll just wing it and plan to get there early. From the research I did Kimono's was the closest and best Sushi place to BWV.

I know of the place in Epcot but I was hoping for a mroe intamet setting then sharign a table and doing it Japanese steak house style. Anyone have a better idea?

I've eaten at Kimono's and have enjoyed the food very much, but I can't imagine describing it as "intimate". I found it just slightly more "intimate" than a beer hall :rotfl2:
But, if you like Japanese food, it's the best we've found in WDW.
By the way, how do you feel about Karaoke :rotfl: :rotfl:

KIMOMOS starts dinner at 5:30 pm and singing at 9 pm

While it may not be 2 stepping to Dean Martin in some dimly lit, smoky room, it's more "intimate" then a Japanese steak house (a.k.a. sharing a table with 6 other strangers) and as I said, has the best sushi... :rotfl2: :woohoo: :rotfl:
