We are thinking of doing a horseback ride early morning one day. It seems like taking disney transportation would be
as to mk, boat to fw. This also seems like it would take awhile. Does anyone know the best way to get there? How much would a taxi be if we took it to get there straight?

I would say a Taxi would be at least $15 one way. It was $7.00 for a taxi in December from Ft. Wilderness to the Contemporary.

You could schedule your horseback ride for an Early Entry morning to the Magic Kingdom, then take the first bus to the MK, then take a boat from the MK to Ft. Wilderness.
