What a great topic for a blog! That was very interesting to see traveling from your perspective. Can't wait to hear about the other parts of your trip!

Thanks everyone for all the nice E-Mails and message board posts. I will respond when school is over. Today is the first of some very busy days.:)

I really enjoyed hearing of your experiences. It was definitely eye-opening. I look forward to more of your blogs!

I enjoyed reading the Blog. Thanks for posting it!!:cheer2:

Thanks for posting. My mom wants to visit my niece at the Fort Lee in VA. She cannot ride in the car for a long time as she needs to move around, stretch and make many bathroom visits. We were thinking of taking the train. She can transfer to seat with assistance, but cannot climb the steps to get into train. Your blog was very helpful. I am going to share it with her. She has been nervous about making the ride. I am going to tell her that if you can get to Florida by yourself, she can certainly get to VA from PA with me at her side. :goodvibes Thanks for a great blog and I look forward to the next installment. See you at DAP. Penny:hippie:

Skip, great blog with important details. I'm glad you had a good trip. You're a wonderful addition to blog.

I take care of my dad who's also in a wheelchair, and I appreciate your detailed description regarding the restrooms. I can relate, because when I take my dad to visit my brother in DC, and there is one family/companion restroom on the PA turnpike that we can use that has the grab bars in the right location for him.

Something else to consider is the accessible space in first class. It has a private restroom. On a college student budget, I cant afford first class, :lmao: but it could be a better option for some people.:)
