Is WDW and DLR that different?? Just from the pictures it seems to be. Everyone looks like they had so much fun!

Lisa, please forgive me for being so very, very far behind.

I did read everything and am all caught up now that you're done.

I throughly enjoyed the TR and all of the photos. You have now given me an itch to go to Disneyland which I've really never had a desire to do. Now, to just find the time, the money, etc.

Aww... Lisa - that was a wonderful finish to a wonderful TR! I can't believe you are finished with it already... I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and every picture you shared. I love seeing all your pictures!

And look at that ticker... only 8 days until your cruise!!! Are you ready to leave yet???

oh look who's taking, you are already on day two of your TR thanks !! didn't realize I hadn't taken many photos of our last day
I'm ready for some sunshine, but packing not so much done yet, will get more done over the weekend, have all my lists together and our bathroom things all put together other than the last minute stuff

yes there is a number of rides at DLR that WDW doesn't have and it has a different feel to it too, maybe a bit cozier. we love WDW but for us that's a big vacation, DLR is a 2-3 day trip for us.
we really had so much fun, its great sharing with friends who get the whole Disney magic as much as we do

What a great day with Kris, Kylee, & family! You guys really accomplished a lot!!!

What a weird combination of characters at breakfast.. but I'm glad you were able to take a picture with Goofy!

then had some pixie dust for the fireworks...Kris' oldest DD had been in the park on Friday and had set it up for us to have priority seating to watch the fireworks right in front of the castle on the benches!

WOW Lisa, between you and Kris' DD...MAJOR Pixie Dust!! How cool to be able to live so close to either WDW or DL that you can just pop in for a day...I have heard you say several times about someone in Kris' family having a day trip somewhere cool (I am thinking of the Matterhorn, where ever that is...I know, ignorant of me) and of course, I always think of Tink and the trips she takes, often with just JJ....Your pics are FABULOUS, but I can't believe you are finished! Say it's not so!!!! We NEED to live near the World, I am telling you!

I am sorry the end of the trip found Megan so ill, but what an amazing trip it was and I am so happy you finally were able to meet Kris and family in person, I know how much it meant to you both.

Kris, I know you are sad, try to hold on to all of the wonderful memories and remember you WILL get back to Disney, I don't know when, but you always find a way when you least expect it and you will again! You are tired and sick of the hospital and it is hard to be cheery when you are "locked up"...but it WILL happen again, or something equally fun will. You are all so fortunate to have the Starlight Foundation, I know you have had some fun activities through them as well, so hang in there better times ARE coming! Plus, didn't I read Lisa was coming to see you again in July????

Lisa, your cruise is going to be here before you know it! Will there be a mini TR here??? You made me sad when you said see you around the boards, I need you to keep writing and posting pics of your escapades!

LOVED all of the pics, the fun, the stories, the Pixie Dust, your gorgeous Megan and your love and inclusion of Jim in all you do!

Hi Tim! we had such a fun day with them....only got all that done due to the green stamped GAC!
yah goofy's has always done a mix of characters, never know who might be there so makes it nice to see different ones on every trip!

if was a pixie dust filled day we had so much fun with them!
I'm sad our year of Disney parks is over too...almost a year to the day we left for our trip to WDW last year....I miss living closer to DLR (we were about 1 hour away when we lived in S CA) maybe someday we will both be closer!

I know Kris' older girls go to Magic Mountain (6 flags) a bunch - the Matterhorn in a ride in the MK! which was closed

yes we are planning a trip to visit Kris this summer, haven't set our dates in stone just yet though.

Kris is having a tougher time with this stay since it was so close to the last one, can't imagine all she goes through being away from the kids and scott so much ...please keep them in your prayers everyone...

don't be sad, you know I'm always around here somewhere....yes I will post some HI photos and make sure you get the link! if I don't add it on to this TR..only 8 more days, need to get busy with my packing!

We are really looking forward to it and we are going to Flower and Garden. It was so nice what you did for Kylee she looked like she really enjoyed and so did the rest of them. I have been keeping up with Judy hoping Lisa's numbers get up we went thru that last year with Morgan, Morgan is still having problems with her kidney she wants me to go with her to the dr while we are there. She is doing exactly like I did.

thanks! yes Kylee was a MAW a couple years ago....her sister Korissa was one last year, we did her BG!
yes they are beautiful! and both are so sweet too! kept telling Steven he was going to be a popular boy with the girls when he gets older with those eyes and dimples

thanks, hope we do to, but with 9 of going its going to be touchy at some point I know especially with the one SIL I don't like (I call her the OTHER) but I plan on having a great time with Megan and that's all that matters to me!

you know I will have tons of pics and plan on doing somesort of TR, maybe attached to this one or I will post the link here!

we are off to our next adventure in just two days! Aloha on Friday for our cruise around the Hawaiian Islands on NCL! Courtesy of my mom, she's taking us, my two brothers, two SIL and two nephews....should be an experience with us all travelling together can't wait to enjoy the sun, sea, smells and sites! I will probably piggy back a TR onto this thread, so stay tuned for a touch of HI!

yes she is....she wanted to go on a last family trip before the kids got to big and she wasn't able to travel and walk!
we are all doing what we want and will meet up when we can....only doing so far together, dinner Sunday night to celebrate Megan and my nephew Zach b-days...a luau in Kauai and then our last day doing the whole Pearl Harbor area...my older bro's family are on a major budget and they are both teachers so just will mostly chill on the beaches....younger bro's family are doing different things too....mom will be coming with megan and I on a tour and then we are treating her to one of the speciality restaurants on night!
so hopefully we will all have our own fun and then spend some time together too...win/win for ALL

thanks everyone can't wait!

we are having a doozy of a storm right now with rain and wind...so looking forward to escaping this for a week

Tomorrow my sweet girl turns 12....hard to believe how fast time has gone, so proud of her!
she got her report card today and got 3 A's and 4 B's and made honor roll again

we will be going to get our nails all fancy for our trip after school and I told Megan she could pick somewhere for dinner afterwards....guess what she picked.....
