Friends & Family Mobile Ordering

Hi there. We just started planning our trip and Mobile Ordering is a brand new thing for us.

My question is: Can I place a mobile order and then have someone else from my shared Friends & Family list beep their Magic Band or something and pick it up? Or does the specific phone that placed the mobile order have to be present in order to pick up?

Never needed the phone to pick up. I would place the order and then either myself or DH would grab it, you just need to know the order number and occasionally I was also asked the name on the order.
