Thursday 31st October
So, dinner tonight was at Enchanted Garden and it was Semi-Formal night and Halloween. Which made for a very interesting mix of dining attire. While we went the semi-formal route, our table mates chose the Halloween costume option. So we wound up dining with a banana, a kitty cat and a she-devil.
The kids looked fab in their outfits but I thought my little man looked perfectly handsome in his shirt and tie.

Our lovely assistant server, Isabella, was in a playful mood tonight and had hidden a plastic spider under Daniels napkin. Seeing that she was disappointed that it had no effect when he discovered it, we suggested that she may wish try it on Cassie since she is petrified of spiders. Meanwhile, Isabella had a little fun with the side plates.

Gary made an attempt at getting a decent picture of Daniel and I but, unfortunately, we just werent in a very sensible mood and were having hysterics in most of them.

I wish I had a copy of the video Wendy took of Cassies reaction to the spider; it was absolutely hilarious. Needless to say, when she finally noticed it (it did take a while) she reacted exactly as predicted.
Tonights dinner was probably my favourite of the whole trip. Everyone was in high spirits, I was feeling pretty relaxed after a lovely day in the sun and my poorly feet were feeling much better.
I only wish I could remember what we ate, since it was all absolutely delicious. I will have to make do with just posting the pictures.
This was mine pretty adventurous for me but I remember it being wonderful.

I also asked Toto for a side of croquette potatoes, which he was happy to bring. They were also pretty tasty.

Desserts!

Just the one crème brulee for Gary he must have still been full from lunch.

Later, we all went up on deck for the Halloween party and costume parade. Char, Nate and the kids had changed into their fancy dress outfits and were looking good!

The characters were all dressed up too.

We bumped into Holly up on deck, having a ball with her family, and couldnt resist a quick girly group shot.

And then Char spotted the captain (well, we assumed it was the captain not just somebody in fancy dress) and wasnt going to pass up the opportunity to have a picture with him this time. Of course, she dragged me into the picture with her too. He does NOT look amused.

Next, we went down to the theatre for tonights show, which was a new one (I believe) about a young girl and her scientist father called Believe. It wasnt one of my favourites in fact, the only good thing it had going for it was the fact that it featured the Genie, who was absolutely epic.
After the show, Sian decided to head off to bed and Gary and I decided to go down to the Skyline Lounge for a couple of drinks poured by the wonderful Jerry.

We got chatting to a couple (or rather, they started chatting to us) who were on their honeymoon. They were pleasant enough but, after a little while, the wife had to go and pick their baby up from the nursery, leaving us with the husband. For some reason, he seemed to change his personality a little when his wife was gone and I wasnt overly impressed with some of the things he was saying so I made an excuse about being tired and we headed off to our room.
We took a quick peek in to make sure the kids were safely back. They were and both asleep and I couldnt resist taking a quick snap of their fabulous towel eagle (although Sian wouldnt let me post that one because you could see her asleep in it so I had to borrow her picture)

We had our own towel animal we couldnt quite work out what it was but came to the conclusion it must be a rasta man or some such thing.

After watching some television and reading for a while (me), it was time to get some sleep in preparation for our day at the beach tomorrow.
