friend's 5 yr old son on a vent with pneumonia pg 20

I'm so sorry to hear the sad news! :grouphug: I will continue praying for his mom.

It broke my heart to read this update. I am so sorry. May God bless Kyree and his family, bring them comfort in such an awful time. There are no words to make it better but I will continue to pray for Kyree and his mother. :sad1::littleangel::hug:

Words cannot express the depth of my sorrows for Kyree and his amazing family. I will continue to pray for them all, that God give Kyree eternal rest, and his family unwavering strength. I can't stop crying, I felt such a bond with that child.

Oh my gosh...I am so sorry. I lost my dad this week, and while it was certainly difficult, I can't even imagine the pain of losing a child. I will hold all of you in my thoughts and prayers. :grouphug:

My heart goes out to you and your family. I went through this in February. I wish I could say something that would help. You are in my thoughts.

How very sad. Our thoughts and prayers with the family and extended family and friends.

How tragic to lose such a young life. My prayers go out to his mom and family and may God strengthen them.

I am so so sorry to report that Kyree passed on late last night. His mother was with him.

Kyree fought hard. His strength was evident through each of the many days he was in the PICU. Kyree's mom was an amazing advocate for her son. In the midst of such an intense and scary thing she kept people updated so they could know how Kyree was doing and keep praying for him. It is obvious where Kyree got his fighting spirit. No one could have done more for their son.

My thoughts and prayers are with Kyree's mom and brother. I am so sorry for their loss. I can't imagine dealing with this and am so sorry they have to. Prayers for Kyree's extended family, for the many friends that care about Kyree and his mom and his brother, for Kyree's classmates.

Thank to all of you for taking the time out of your lives to pray and send positve thoughts for a little boy that you didn't even know. The out pouring of concern was inspiring. I am so sorry to pass on the sad news. Thank you for caring.

Oh dear God - that poor little thing fought so very hard..:sad1::sad1:

I will continue to pray for the strength for all of you to get through this terrible tragedy..:sad1:

I am so very sorry to hear about Kyree losing his battle.

I sincerely hope and pray that there will soon be enough H1N1 vaccine available so that all of those that want to get it for themselves and their children.

:grouphug:

My heart aches, when I checked Kyree's website on Friday things seemed to be looking up, still have a big recovery ahead of him, but I then didn't check his page again until this evening and was so saddened to hear that he passed. My heart aches for Marci, for her older son, for all who knew Kyree.

Carissa

I know Carissa - things were looking so positive. It was such a shock. We knew he was gravely ill but to see the direction things were going and how they controlled past complications made it even more hopeful. I know she will need her friends now more than ever. I am sorry for the pain that this causes you and all those that knew Kyree. :grouphug:

I'm so sorry. I checked in everyday to see his progress. I missed yesterday to find this today. How terribly sad. May he rest in peace now.

I have followed this thread since the beginning and am just so heartbroken to read of the news of Kyree...I am so sorry for his friends and loved ones. I have prayed for him and his family and will continue to keep them in my heart.

I have been away and just learning this sad heartbreaking news that little Kyree has lost his battle :sad1:. Thank you Jewel1310 for bringing Kyree into our Dis family lives as we held such high hopes for this sweet child through prayer. This innocent child is no longer in pain nor suffering and may it bring his family some tyoe of peace to know he is now dancing with the angels. God bless his Mom, family and friends, as they begin to put their lives back together after their loss and heartbreaking tragedy.

:grouphug: Godspeed and prayers to all those suffering with an illness or have lost a loved a loved one.

How terribly sad. I'm glad I wasn't following the thread over the weekend...it would have been too much for me.

Sid's service was glorious. The 1200 seat sanctuary was totally filled, with overflow in the church fellowship hall. Sid's wife looked beatific - I guess it's the peace that passeth all understanding. There were so many teens and young adults there to support the kids. My son came home from college and my girls signed out of school to attend. I think that pretty much the whole church youth choir was there to support the son. He plays baseball, so his team was there in force in their jerseys.

And with Sid and Kyree, we're left to wonder why. Thousands of people praying, and we all get the answers we don't want. I wonder if Sid and Kyree have met each other yet. Sid was a great dad, so maybe they're playing catch right now.
