I quit going to those kinds of parties. The last one I was invited to was baskets. If I were going to pay that kind of $ for a basket, I would get one actually made by an artist. As far as jewelry goes, I prefer sentimental pieces and never buy costume jewelry for myself. I find the party stuff really over priced for the quality, too.
