Friday - Monday Which days for which parks in May/June ?

We usually visit Disneyland on weekdays however this trip it has worked out that we have Friday - Monday.

We want to visit Disneyland for 3 days and Knott's for 1 day.

Disneyland will def be on the Monday because we leave that night and it's closer to our hotel so just easier to do DL that day, so will have two of the other days as well for DL resort.

What day do you suggest for Knott's ??
I haven't been there since before my kids were born, so around 10 years. We won't have the $ for fast lane there, kids will mainly want to do the slower paced rides with hubby and I maybe doing a coaster or two as single riders. Would Friday, Sat or sunday be best??
Dates are Friday May 30 - Monday June 2nd

I think this may be the plan or the 1st. I am just not sure.
Both May 30th and June 1st are "Grad Nights" at DL, from what I read this is going to be VERY busy on those days/nights.
