FRI 23rd April OH no GRAD night!! but open at 8am

Please help, I have planned for me and my DD 7 to go to IOA on Fri 23rd april, we are staying off site, however we thought as the park opens at 8am, we could get in early and get a few big rides done, before the queues build.


I now see its GRAD night !, how does this fit in with my plans, guess the park will be even busier !!!! ??? OH NO !
Or if we get tio park at 8am, we could do our main rides, then soak up the atmosphere, as the crowds build and leave when it gets too packed?

PLEASE help me.... my DD wants to ride spiderman more than once....

To be honest, I can't imagine grads getting up at 7am or earlier to head for the parks, I imagine later risers (as I was at that age ) so you should be good for the first few hours

what time does the park close that day? When I did grad nite (20 something years ago) they closed the park to 'other people' and it was just graduates from, say, 11PM till 6AM.

You shouldn't notice the Grad Night crowds until late in the day and that's mainly going to be outside the parks. Grad Night is a "restricted" event so the parks will be closed to the general public...think of it in terms of a private party. You shouldn't have any problems doing what you want especially in the morning.

This is how it was at universal in California when I graduated 4 years ago.They closed the park for just us from 7pm-3am
