Frequent Virgin Card

Has anyone ever shown their Virgin Card at check-in and got a room upgrade? Isn't that one of the perks? I'm sure I read it somewhere but can't think where

I also have a Frequent Virgin Card I'm not sure if the upgrade may only apply when you book through virgin holidays but it's worth a try.

I think you only get an upgrade to the nicest available room if the hotel is a frequent virgin friendly hotel which it will tell you in the current brochure.

Thanks for the replies. Have checked out the web site and would you believe it? neither of the hotels we've booked into are FVC hotels oh well we'll just have to smile sweetly and hope we get a nice room
