Does anyone know if the beignets found at the Port Orleans French Quarter are available anywhere else? Maybe France in the World Showcase? Thanks!

Nowhere else but POFQ. There the best when eaten hot.:thumbsup2

wezee is correct...POFQ is it, and there's virtually always a line at the window to get them, because they make them fresh for each order. And the advice to eat them while hot is right on! Just don't try to save them for later...once they cool off completely, the pastry turns to cardboard :scared1:

(also, don't try eating them in dark clothes...you'll be a mess, guaranteed :dance3:)

Café DuMonde. New Orleans.:rotfl::rotfl:
Couldn't resist sorry. A little humor from New Orleans.:laughing:

Haha, I've had them in New Orleans. That's where my obsession started. We are staying at Boardwalk and I was hoping I'd find them in the bakery there.

Thanks everyone for the responses.

That's it, but they are good. The post abt their messiness are true, too. I once saw a group of kids write their names with their fingers in the huge pile of white powdered sugar that was left on their table!
