Seems like more and more people are boycotting french products due to their stance on the war. Personally I haven't yet boycotted their products, but I am thinking of doing it. I really think the only thing the French see in this is $ and they forgot the fact that 10 times more Americans died liberating France than died in the September 11th attacks. I don't think they care about the reasons for going or not going to war it is all about their oil agreements with Saddam. If it were not for the U.S. they would be speaking German, and yeah there would be no Disneyland Paris. How quickly they forget.

If you want to boycott French products, then that is your decision.
I have to say I'm pretty tired of people bringing up how we helped France in WW2 but neglect to mention how they helped us win the Revolution.

Boycott whatever you wish, but let it be for the current situation and leave the past where it should be- in the past.

there was a thread on the debate board about this. personally, i think a protest of this nature is sort of silly, given the global economy we live in. a part of an "american" car, shoe, food product etc. could be french and you'd never know it.

more power to people who chose to do this though.

This issue was already discussed to death on the DB. One person (and forgive me b/c I don't remember the poster) mentioned that you then might as well boycott just about every product, b/c so much is made in China and they are a lot worse than France!! I thought that point could really sum up the whole arguement. Do whatever you want to do, it is your right to boycott French products if you want to. I seriously doubt France will care if you don't buy a bottle of their wine or a block of cheese, but if you feel you are making a differance and supporting your beliefs then go with your instincts. I will not be boycotting any French products, I don't have the time or desire to do so.
