*Freezing February Fun* A 6 day trip at AKL full of fun and surprises!

Where i left off, we were heading to the Kilimanjaro
Safari around noon. I was SOO surprised, because it had
only a 5 minute wait, and it wasnt even earrly! We got
right on. Total wait time: 1 minute....i couldnt believe it!
Of course Grace got on the good side of the tram where
you got to see everything....like always. poor, poor Lauren.
I noticed during the ride that they took out the bridge that you
have to lean to one side or youll fall off...i liked that so i was
sad i missed it. Here are some pictures of the wildlife:

We actually saw the hippos REALLY good! One was even
out of the water, and we never get to see that!

The crocodiles...i dont even think even one was out of the water!

After the safari, where we had to say Quaharini, and
did not see even ONE stinkin zebra, we went on the
Rafikis Planet Watch, where we walked through
every thing until we got to the big buliding, and then
got our picture with Pochahontas

My mom was determined we hadnt gotten a picture of
her yet, but i could swear we already did our first trip
when we came here....i think she was the wrong one...
A picture of my mom and dad with Jiminy Cricket...whom we
have NEVER gotten a picture with unlike pochahontas.

After getting back from Rafikis Planet Watch, we were
right near Pangani Trail, so we went there.

OH NO!!! Not the gorillas!!! Of course my father
spotted those suckers out. Our last trip in the summer,
my dad must have taken AT LEAST a million photos of
this stinkin gorillas butt, and of course my dad wanted more!

he looks very inquisitive....wouldnt u say?

Of course these arent all of the gorilla pix,
but i didnt want to bore you with all of them.

After that we went on the Maharajah Jungle Trek, and then
Its's Tough to be a Bug, which was finally working...thank god
(i wouldnt miss that awesome show for the world), but for
some reason all these people bring their stinkin babies to the show,
EVEN though i hear the CM make several announcements that this
is a scary, loud show, not for babies..but these dumb people
just dont listen and then we have to listen to the crying and
screeching kids....ugh.

After that, Grace wanted to go back to the hotel,
but i WAS NOT missing the 4:45 parade, so my dad
went back with Grace while my mom stayed with me.
The parade was great as usual, and then we headed back
to the buses with the rest of the park, and was soon back
to the lovely AKL. Then we took showers, and by the way
we had NO blow dryer which we had last time we were here,
so now i had to go around with wet hair in the freezing cold!
Then we got dressed and headed to Bomas for dinner. The
meal was yummy! And after that we took a dip in the hot tub,
and then headed back to the room and fell fast asleep after
another great day!

The next day which was a saturday we woke up
and went to Epcot....sady we missed rope drop.
That day was really bad weather and it was
freezing AND pouring rain, so we all had our
disgusting rain coats on...god i hate those things.

Once we were walking by the big Epcot ball, we
saw that there was practically no one getting
on to Spaceship earth, so we headed on to that,
and to be funny i made a fish face into the camera,
and therefore my future life face looked sooo queer!!
Once we got off we finally tried those games u can play,
and then headed to Test Track...yaaay!!! It wasnt
raining anymore when we got on the ride, and i sat front seat.
Of course, the minute we got out in the open it started pouring
and pelting us really hard! The ride was really great! It always is!
Of course, me and grace always need our pictures taken in the cars

Then we saw the car that's in Transformers(BumbleBee),
and my dad went wild taking pix

For some reason the guys seemed to think we actually
like REALLY liked this car, and he was smiling at us
like crazy and then asked us if we wanted a pamphlet..
we said no, and then we left. After that we headed to the
Land Pavillion. First we went on Living with the Land which
was closed the last time we were here, and then got fastpasses
for Soarin which werent due until about an hour or so, so we
had some Mickey heads and coffee at Sunshine Seasons, and then
went to the Circle of Life show where we had to wait awhile.

me and grace got in a fight about who got to
sit next to my mom, and my mom began screaming
at us, but finally we were ready to watch the show.

It was really good, and afterward we headed back
down to Soarin.

Our stupid Jansport backpack was sooo big that it
wouldnt fit in the compartment beneath us, so the
lady had to take it and put it to the other side...o boooy.
we sat third row so we watched the show with flailing feet in our face,
but the ride was VERY good!

After Soarin we went to Innoventions,
and then tried the new Make Your Own
Rollercoaster thing. I laughed to myself as
they were explaining what to do, while these 2
girls about my age sat there on their ipod touches
paying absolutely no attention...ooo well. My
mom and i went together and went on a rollercoaster
with corkscrews and other flips. It was SOOO much fun!!!

The we began to make our way to the World Showcase
for our 2:00 reservations at Biergarten.
Im gonna end this post now.

Once we got to the World Showcase entrance over by Epcot,
we remembered that the Flower and Garden festival starts
the day we are leaving, and they had already set up a bunch of their
topiaries.

Here are a few cute characters they made out of flowers
that we saw on our way to Germany:

Finally we arrived at Biergarten. I was surprised that there
was such a big line at the front desk there!!! Its always
practically empty in the summer!

We stood behind this really annoying guy who was yammering
on and on about a stupid lawnmower REALLY loudly! I just
wanted to tell him to shut up!

We finally got into the show, and i realized that
there was a whole different band! Weve always had
the exact same guys! We had a great lupper(lunch/supper),
and then headed back to the main area of epcot without
looking in the countries(we were planning on looking in'
them later), but of course we took a few pictures!

awww what cute fairies!!

We took what would have been a quick look
in Mousegear, but the lady who worked at the
counter had a problem which took MORE time, so
that lasted about 30-40 minutes in there. Then we began
our trek to the Imagination pavillion...it wasnt raining anymore,
and the sun had finally come out...yaaay!!!

and alas we finally made it to the Figment ride!

After that, my mom and i wanted to go
on the Honey I Shrunk the Audience, so my
dad and grace went to club cool while we
went on. I really think they need to update that
show, because the 3d is WICKED blurry!

When i left off we were on our way to
the World Showcase, and then we finally
arrived at Mexico. While may parents got
drinks in the bar inside the building, me and
grace took some funny pics!

We wanted to go on the Mexico boat ride, but
the lady said my parents couldnt go on with
beverages. I didnt wanna go on without my
parents(yes i know im a little chicken), so we
said we didnt wanna go on. The lady was like, "The
ride isnt scary girls, its very tame." I just said ya i know,
and then we left.

Next, we went to Norway, and decided to go on
Maelstrom. Ive been deathly afraid of that ride since i
went on in 2006. But, i finally decided to give it a try.
In line there were huge piles of puke, that almost made
me barf!! Then we got on the ride, and what i saw horrified
me. I could have cared less about the ride, once we spotted
the 2 girls sitting front row making out the ENTIRE ride!!! O my
goodnesss it was absolutely disgusting. Anyways, after the ride,
we saw the video, which really needs to be updated. Its seriously
from the early 90's....definetely needs a change.

After the ride, we took a quick look at Norway
I LOVE the stave churches..they are soo beautiful!

Next we went to China, but didnt spend much
time there, although i did see a girl throw a
fit over one of those stupid puppet things.

After that, we went to Italy, but only stayed
for a tiny bit....but when we turned the corner
guess who we saw?

Lady and the Tramp! How adorable!

Here are a few more of the topiaries we saw:

We then went to France, where we got a pic of
Grace in her o so lovely beret

I swore that i would show off my newly learned French
skills, but sadly i chickened out. Then went to all the
rest of the countries, and then got a popcorn and
a nice spot for illuminations. I moved so i could see better,
and then all these people came to my spot too, and guess
what these rude people did? They cut and stood right infront
of me...and they had seen me too! I moved back to where i was
standing before with me, and my mom yelled "Thanks" to those people.
It annoyed me because we had been waiting there for an hour, and
then a group of people came over 5 minutes before the show and
then just cut infront of us....it REALLY annoys me!! So, anyways
the show was really great, and then after it we beelined our way
back to the buses, and then got back to AKL, and then went
to sleep after another great day at Disney.

The next morning which was our 4th day at
disney, we got up early and made it for rope drop
at Hollywood Studios. We had totally forgotten that
it was ESPN weekend and there were tons of cheerleaders.
My dad, who is this HUGE yankees fan, was already making
plans to come back and see Bernie Williams and Jaba
Chamberlain at 4:00. At the time HS opened, we headed
straight to TSM with the rest of the park. We waited
for only a few minutes, and i noticed that there was NO
Mr.Potato head! I was so upset! Anyways i sat with Grace
and beat her butt, but didnt do very good on my score. My dad
of course did awesome, and got above 100,000....

After we got off, we got fastpasses for later and took
a few pictures of the Pixar area.

After TSM, we headed to Little Mermaid and of course it SAYS
NO flash photography....and what do people do...FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY!!
It just ruins the WHOLE thing!
Then we went on the GMR, and then went on the Muppets
3D...i love that shhow!

I was very sad, becuz both my parents wouldnt go on
ToT OR RRC, so all we got was a picture.

Before going to AI, we got some pretzels, and my dad
got to stop and see a quick glimpse of what was
going on.

My dad made up his mind to stay and watch what was going
on in the show, so my mom and grace and me went to AI.
We still hadnt finished our pretzels yet, and they werent
allowed in, so we smuggled them in our pockets. The show
was great! But from my opinion ALL three sucked! Then we came
out to meet my father. Then we began our trek to Star Tours...
the ride i had missed last time.

When i left off, we were on our way to star tours.

The ride was fun, and after that we went straight to
the Lights Motor Action stunt show, which was
starting at 2:20. It was soo much nicer sitting out
at the show in the winter, than it was in the summer in
the sweating hot sun! The show started and it was great!
Everytime i leave this show saying WOW!

there's the guy lit on fire!

After the show, we wanted to get a late lunch, but
the lines were HUGE, so we stopped at a stand and got
these big, delicious ice cream sundaes. YUUUM!!!

We began lookin in some of the stores after, and then
stopped to watch the Block Party Bash which was pretty
cool. I had this lady behind me though who was taping the
show with her camera and had it right above my head! That
was pretty annoying! Once the parade left our area we headed
up toward the ESPN stage to see Bernie Williams at 4. The minute
the parade moved away from the stage, everyone went flying up
to the stage! We were all chanting BERNIE WILLIAMS!! He was
practicing his guitar and Jaba Chamberlain was there as well....
as you can guess we're big Yankee fans. Here are
a few pictures we took of Bernie Williams:

My dad took ssooo many pictures, and they all came out
pretty bad, cuz they werent facing the people, so i wont
show you all of them. You would get veery bored.

So, while my dad was watching the show, we went to
another AI, and after that we looked through a few more stores
and then headed to the buses.

We had a dinner reservation at Ragaln Road at
Downtown Disney and didnt have time to get back
to the hotel, and AKL was far from DD. Soo we quickly
jumped on any hotel bus, and just happened to get on
WL, which was the first resort we ever stayed at and we
had gone there 2 times. I was sooo happy!

Once we got there, i just had to get a quick look
at WL's lobby, so me and my dad sprinted up there.

Heres me in front of the Mercantile:

by the time we got out, my sister was screaming
to us that the bus was here, so we ran back
laughing our heads off, because my mom had just
warned us that we shouldnt go, cuz we'd miss the bus..lol.
Guess i should have listened!

So we took a short trip to DD, and once we got
there we took a quick look around before heading to
Raglan Road.

We went in the christmas shop and bought a
few ornaments, because we just can't resist
buying those adorable ornaments! Then, we
went to that store that sells all those Vinylmations.
I just can't remember the name of the store! I bought
3 of them, now having six of them! Boy, was i getting
obsessed with vinylmations! Then, we took a look around the
lego area where we took a few pictures.

this is sooo cool!

ive never seen these cool things before!

We finally arrived a bit early for our Raglan Road reservations,
so my parents got some drinks at the irish bar outside,
and me and grace got those delicious chips!

Then, we went to our dinner reservatoin

It was our second time going to Raglan
Road, and i loved their sirloin steak, so
i got that. YUUUMMYY!!!!

My dad and mom LOVES U2, so he took a picture
of Bono.

We got the delicious desert we had tried there, the
bread pudding. My dad thought we should take a
picture of it..okk.

Me next to that irish dude...nt sure who he is??

After dinner we looked around at the rest of the stores,
and i got a few more pins. I found out there were special
passholder ones you could buy, but you had to ask about
them or you wouldnt know. Cool!

When we got to the bus stop we saw an AKL
bus pull away. Oooh nooo! But we lucked out,
because another AKL bus comes and pulls right up.
Score!! We took a long, bus home, and were able
to rest our tired heads.

Then, we got back to the hotel, and fell faast asleep.

probably my favorite restaurant at wdw, other than

The next day, which was Monday, we decided to
go to MK, but sadly we missed rope drop. Once we
got there, we headed straight for Splash Mountain. My
most FAVORITE ride eveeer!!!



It was a less than five minute wait which was awesome,
and when we got to the logs we got to sit in the FRONT
seat!! Finally!! So, me and grace sat in the front, and my
mom and dad sat behind us. I was soo proud of myself to
be sitting in the front, because just last summer, i would
have forced my dad to sit next to me and hold me in a headlock.


The water seemed to be really at the top and overflowed
since it had just been refurbished, and every small drop,
me and grace got sopping wet. Although, at the big drop,
i was a brave little girl, and i held my hand up and stuck my
tongue out! Me and Grace got SOAKING!!! I had never even gotten
the teeniest drip wet, and we were soaked through the underwear!!
Of course, when we got out, it was freezing out, and we were
sopped, our pants, hair, shirt, ooo it was aawful!

My mom and dad, said that after we go on BTMR, we
would go buy some clothes to change into on Main Street.

After a few pictures, we headed straight
to Main Street to go get some new clothes...
im gonna end the post now because its my bedtime...lol.

ok, so i havent been on in awhile, and i believe where
i left off we were walking to Main Street.

Well, the first thing
we did was go in the stores to get some clothes. Grace got
a pink minnie shirt and pink sweatpants, but i honestly didn't
like anything, so i just went wet in the hopes of drying.


After that, we headed to the Main Street Bakery...yuum yuum!
Me and Grace got those delicious gigantic chocolate chip ice cream
cookies, ands my mom and dad got a cinammon bunn to share and an
ice cream cookie.


Next, we went to Haunted Mansion. For some reason
i always get scared before this ride!

After the ride, we actually saw this pet cemetary
which i had'nt seen either!

We headed straight to Fantasy Land next. My dad took a ton of
pictures of the buildings there for some reason. It actually looks
like some of the buildings from the World Showcase.

We decided to go on Small World since it was right there.

The wait said 20 minutes, but it was really only 10, and then
we got on. I sat on the edge of the boat, and i really disliked it.
For some reason i was freaked out that i was gonna fall off the edge
or something! It was just me being a scaredy-cat!

After IASW, we went too see what the wait was for Peter
Pan's Flight, and it was really long so we got a fastpass, and
went to Mickey's Phiharmagic.

When we got into the theatre, we ended up sitting next to this
lady who actually had a dog with her! It was in her backpack, and
when we were seated she pulled it out and sat it on her lap....how
odd!!! The show was great, as always, and by then i was dry...good
thing i hadn't boughten clothes i wouldn't have worn other than that
day!




We looked at a little gift shop next to the Snow White ride next.

And then we took a look in that tinkerbell store, and then
in the back section of the castle, because there must have been
one of those shows going on.

Isnt't this sooo pretty!

After that, i really wanted to go on the Winnie the
Pooh ride, so we went in line. That turned out to be a
mistake, because we waited for AT LEAST 20 minutes, which
was pretty much the max for this trip, and i had to listen to my
sister and dad yell at me for why i wanted to go on such a baby
ride. Well, im sorry but i really like that ride!

After winnie the pooh, which grace did end up enjoying! haha!
She was dying to go on the Indy Speedway, so we waited in line
for quite awhile for that. It was beginning to feel very warm, and there
was a lot of people in tanktops and shorts for the first time ever this trip!
And here i was in jeans and a long sleeved shirt!

I wasnt a very good driver, and was banging off the thing every time!

After that, we headed for Mickey's Toontown, because we
skipped that our last trip. It was PACKED in that area! Me and
Grace went to wait in line while my mom and dad waited.

The ride wasn't very good, because it was wicked short and
we had waited quite awhile! I couldn't believe how loud those people
on the ride had screamed! It had gotten really hot by then, and it
would probably be our only oppurtunity for the pool so my sister and
dad headed back, while my mom and i went to the emporium and bought
a few vinylmations. Then we headed back to the AKL for an nice
afternoon dip as well!

Ok, so when i left off, we were heading
back to the hotel for a dip in the pool, because
it had miraculously become warm! So, we got in our
bathing suits and got in the pool. Heres Grace doing
the thing she loves most about disney.....swimming!

After going in the pool for a few hours, we had to go
back upstairs, shower, and get dressed for our reservations
at 7:55 at Park Fare. We wanted to catch Spectromagic
first so we had to hurry.

I was soo excited to see this parade, because it
would be our last time, because now there's gonna
be the Main Street Electrical Parade, which i am WICKED
excited about, this summer! Now these pictures aren't that
good, but mind u my father isn't the best with cameras...lol.

I was very sad, because at this point, we had
to leave or we would never make it to our dinner
reservations at Park Fare....i was veeery unhappy





So, we got on the monorail, and first headed to
the Contemporary

Then, we finally arrived at the gorgeous Grand Floridian!
My dream resort!

Im gonna stop now, cuz the next post is gonna
require ALOT of room for pictures.

When i left off, we had just gotten to the Grand Floridian.
My parents went there on their honeymoon. So, here
are quite a few pictures my dad took...he really likes it
there. And for future reference.....my dad REALLY liked the
new Italian tiles they put in...just so you know, in case that
comes up in the future(like in a picture).

I know...alot of pictures! Especially tiles! We were
finally ready to go to the Park Fare for the 3rd time!

We, got our meals, and then the characters began coming
by. I remember the first time i came to this restaurant, I
had to sing in front of everyone! It was fun AND embarassing!

and me and grace look like this is the happiest day on earth!

And we were not both at the table, so here's Prince

After dinner, i spotted this piano, and just HAD to have
a picture with it!

After dinner, since MK was closed we couldn't take a bus there
and to AKL, so we waited at GL's luxurious bus stop with a tv,
to get on a DD bus. We waited about 5 minutes, and then took
a quick trip there and then back to AKL. Then, we went straight
to bed after a long, tiring day at MK, although sadly tomorrow
would be our last day...what park did we choose to go to? keep
reading and you'll see!
