I'm sorry- I better add this for all of the new Freeps--

Pinecone is a survey company that pays you $5 per survey, and it can be deposited directly into your paypal account. They are very hard to get into, bc you can't just go to the website and sign up, you have to get lucky enough to find a banner and click on it to join. You won't make a ton of money and be able to quit your job, but I have made about $100 since I signed up about 5 mobths ago. Its a nice way to add some extra $ to your Disney fund! Now- go sign up, and thank me later haha!

Thanks for the banner to Pinecone, It was the one I was missing and wanted to join. I hope they pick me. It said to wait a few days for an email. I live in Wyoming and I don't think many companies care about us out here in the west. Because it said to wait for the email does that mean I am out already? Did everyone else get in automatically? It must be because I am old. Sucky darn!!!

I don't know if you've been here before, but there is a HUGE outlet mall in Grapevine called Grapevine Mills. You should check it out if you have time, you can get great deals there, and there is an AMC 30 there that is wonderful!

Oh dear- this is a LOOONG post! Sorry in advance!!

I don't feel like a freap lately - nothing in the mail for well over a week now. Sigh...

Me to! I think things are slowing down a bit for me, although I did get Tide Coldwater today.

I signed up in April too. You're doing better than me though, I've only received 1 survey. I keep getting the email reminding me to fill out my household info ... I've already done that. Maybe I should just do it again.

Oh dear! YES do those house hold question surveys!! That is how they know your family/you qualify for a specific survey! For example, they will ask you if you use X type of product, so you can do a survey on X. I always do them very timely, and get on average, 2 surveys a week.

Definetly try- a lot of people have gotten in even if they do not meet the age requirements! I had to wait on an email notification to- took about a week for mine.

Ohh--- Grapevine Mills is probably my favorite mall ever! I typically drive down for a shopping trip every 2 months!! We don't have very exciting malls, so when I get Abercrombie Outlet, Gap Outlet, Disney Outlet, and Childrens Place outlet all in one place..it is worth the trip! I guess it is about a 3 hour drive for me- not too shabby! My grandparents and uncle live in Lake Kiowa, so we are making a weekend visit!


And- on the $2 thing. That really stinks if they are going to do that. Some of the surveys are very time consuming, and I really don't think I would continue doing them for such a low amount. That stinks. I wonder if I am grandfathered in? hmmm......

Maybe some long-term DISers could chime in if I am inccorrect here but I know we don't want threads to grow just by people marking their spot or subscribing, it makes it longer for everyone else and especially if you are subscribed and get email updates...

Thank you. This is actually a great distraction for me right now. I am wired. My DH was cycling yesterday when someone made a left hand turn in front of him. He flew over the hood and landed on his head (thank god for helmets). He was knocked out for 15-20 minutes. Everything is OK - CT scan and x-ray were negative. The guy who hit him was cited, "Failure to yield to a cyclist". Fine of $35.00.

Anyhow, I am sitting here in bed watching him breathe and thankful that we still have him with.

Now I must try to sleep...

I am so sorry about your DH-- 35$ is a JOKE! Hope he is feeling better soon!

DH has a motorcycle so I know ALL ABOUT the clueless idiots on the road!
