I got a FREE 2yr subscription of Country Home from one of the mag sites, anyway- I got my March issue yesterday and they have a letter on the front of the mag that says they are no longer going to be publishing Country Home

Wow- I wonder if it is b/c of the "economy" I hate hearing those kinds of things.

They did say they are going to replace it with Family Circle. rolleyes: great, now I can get tips on how to feed, do crafts with and take care of, the kids I do not have I do not like that mag.)

I got the first issue, and while the title is a little weird, it's a pretty good magazine. It's like "upscale southern"

I saw that and I thought the title was funny- but I did not subscribe b/c I thought it might have something to do with hunting (and gardening) I love gardening mags.

I only got the first issue - there was an article about custom made shotguns or something, but nothing about hunting. (At least not yet!)

1st regardign the Quiznos, you might want to make sure your neighborhood store is honoring the coupons, my DD awhile back printed out a coupon for a free Sammie ( remember them?) for our local shop and they said they didn't do that. We were like . But anyway, ya might wanna check.

2nd, Anyone want to tell me what's so secret about page 3 here on this weeks thread? LOL For 2 days now it won't load in. LOL pages 1,2, & 4 no problem but not page 3. Anything good on page 3? Not interested in mags, meds, condoms, etc. Just food and fun and cleaning stuff.

I am pretty sure it said if you already subscribe to FC they may renew your subscription. I just glanced over that part b/c I am not a FC subscriber.

I just read that these publications will be folding too- Oprah's O at Home, PC Mag, Domino, Cottage Living, Cosmo Girl, and Christian Science Monitor.

Our "local" papers, The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Phila. Daily News (same owner) filed Chapter 11!

I'm not surprised at all about hearing this. Some of these Quizno's franchisees are dirty scheisters that are more interested in ticking off a customer than pleasing one. It doesn't matter if the customer never sets foot in the restaurant ever again, in their mind as long as their not losing money right at that moment, they're fine with losing a customer.

I couldn't get the coupon to print either.
