Yes, wifi is free throughout WDW. Results may vary on how well it works, though.

We have always had free wifi. Disney is the best. Stayed off site and even with the paid wifi it is so slow no sense in having it.

They have it in the hotels and parks. Most of the time it has worked really well in the resorts, the parks at times it has been spotty.

As previous PP said Wi-Fi is free across all resorts and parks. It is spotty at some of the parks specially AK. I find that the signal comes and goes depending where you are in the park. I know that Disney supposedly upgraded their network in recent years making reception much better now. Hopefully as years go by it will only get better.
