For those tech geeks like myself out there, below is a great "how-to" on combining features within Google Voice and Gizmo5 to provide free VOIP phone service.

Google Voice is still technically in Beta I believe so it's an invitation only service currently, but if you jump on the waiting list you will probably get the invite within a week.
So far Im using this setup on my laptop and it works great call quality very good. Ill probably continue using it for another 2 weeks and then purchase an ATA device (~$50) so I dont need to rely on my PC being turned on to make/receive calls.
For those familiar with Skype this is very similar, just without the monthly cost factor to reach someone on a landline.
