We just returned from 2 wonderful weeks at Disney. The fridge was waiting for us at bell services upon our arrival and is still in great condition. It was nice to have a place to keep things cold while we were there.

Thanks TinkFan625 for the fridge update. We all hope you had a wonderful time in the Magic I was just going to post that I had heard back from you. It is great to know the fridge is doing well and it is still in circulation. It is really appreciated. Lets hope it stays that way and it will if everyone in the swap works together .

Hi, I'm new to this whole fridg swap, but I'm intrested in swaping the week of 4/4-4/9 at the All Stars Movies resort. Any chance that there is an opening that week? Sorry if there is not this whole thing is a bit confusing to me. Thanks so much for your help!

Hi Brenda

The fridge may well be available for your dates because the person who is on the list for the same dates has not responded to any messages and is going to be removed from the list if they don't reply soon. You will need to make a few more posts (20 altogether I think) on the forum (just reply to a few posts or ask some questions yourself - you can do this quite quickly in about 30 minutes) then you can PM me with your full name, booking/reservation number and cell phone number. If it turns out that you can have the fridge for your dates (and it looks like you probably will), I will be able to contact swappers quickly with your details in case there are any problems contacting you. Keep checking this thread over the next few days.

Please can I remind everyone on the swap list to check their PMs and this thread frequently, especially nearer the time you are leaving for your trip. Sometimes changes happen and people leave or are added to the list between your dates and you all need to keep up to date. Also, please remember to exchange details with BOTH swappers either side of your dates. Lets try and keep this swap as stress free as possible. Thanks everyone

Sorry, but at the moment, these dates are taken but things can change. Keep checking the list as I update it as soon as I'm told of any changes. If the dates becaome available, you'd be welcome to join .

I'm back from my mini weekend break in the UK . A message to me from jenjifer using the fridge now has highlighted the importance of labelling the fridge so it STANDS OUT and information can be seen clearly and also the importance of TAKING A PICTURE with you of the fridge. You can get one from the first post in this thread. I will get an up to date picture if someone would kindly take a photo of it and posts it on here. Even though the fridge was labelled for jenjifer, Disney said at first that they couldn't find it and wanted a photo to know what they were looking for. It all turned out good in the end as the fridge WAS found, clearly labelled so it was a problem averted...till next time Disney 'can't find it'

I have been informed by a returning swapper that the poster on the front door of the fridge is missing. I have made another one and would like to know if anyone going soon could print it out and stick it on our fridge please, if I emailed the file to you or if you were able to copy and paste from the image below and edit to fill an A4 sheet. I have tried to recreate the original image as close as possible in a word document. Once the poster has been replaced, I will ask for a new photo to be taken of the fridge. I will then replace the photo on the first page of this thread so we can print a copy to take with us to help Disney to identify our fridge.

I would also like to second that you should put it on the #1 setting, other wise it will freeze all your food! Unfortunatly I did not seethe post to put a new sign on it, but there was one on the side of it, that was riped, but taped back on. What a great service this Fridge Swap is! It worked out wonderfully!

Thank you so much for the update and for the PM you sent me. Its good to know that people are really benefitting from the swap and that all our efforts are being rewarded. If there is anyone going soon who is using the fridge and who would be willing to print off the image in post # 36 above and tape it firmly to the front of the fridge. Then to take a photo and post it on the thread so we can use it to print copies to take to Disney and which will help Disney locate the fridge if there are any concerns. Please PM me or post on this thread if you are willing to do this. I would be eternally grateful. Thank you x
