Free transport from MCO to DTD'ish

We decided last minute to visit my parent in Boca for Easter. I got a FANTASTIC fare, but we have to fly into MCO. We want to spend 24 hours in the Disney area - dinner at CM's.

As we all know, the Disney hotels are so very expensive during Holiday week, I'm thinking of using my Marriott points and just staying in the Marriott Village. BUT - I still have to get there.

If we stay on-site at either POP or CBR we get DME - if we stay off-site - I get the room cheaper, but then I have a $50 cab far to get to our hotel.

Do any hotels offer free service to their hotel like Disney does? We are picking up our rental car at the Hilton in DTD'ish.

I don't think any of them offer free transportation, it's so far from the airport it would not be cost effective for them.
It might be cheaper to use Mears Transportation, their shuttle will go to a few hotels but a cab could be costly if traffic is bad.
Would it be a lot more for you to rent your car at MCO?

I have a problem paying the airport taxes Rentals are soooo much higher getting your car from the airport vs an off-site locale.

I'm putting way too much time into this. I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and stay on-site for the night. It just seems soooo cruel to do this my kids, and when I say "kids" I mean ME!!!!

I'm ready to blow off the 4 days in Key West and just stay at WDW.
