Free transfer with virgin

We always get the free transfer when we have gone with virgin and we assumed( based on past experiences) that the order in which you are dropped off was determined by the price your holiday! So last year we stayed at AKL as we got a good deal only to find we were the very last ones to be dropped off!

So we are planning to stay at the Yacht Club next september and wondered whether anyone know where we stand in the drop off stakes?

When you say Virgin's free transfer are you talking about Virgin's own buses or the Magical Express?

I can't vouch for Virgin firsthand, but the Magical Express buses have no set route and it is merely a case of demand and supply. You can stay at the same resort twice in a row and not necessarily be dropped in the same order or even stop at the same resorts on both trips. It depends which resorts are in your "catchment area" and how busy the bus is.

With Mears (Virgin transfers), last year, we also were last to be dropped off at AKL. They don't go via the price of your holiday at all, its the closeness/order of the hotels to the airport. If I remember correctly, there were a few people staying at the Yacht, and they were dropped off first. But, there were only a handful on the bus with us.

We don't usually care where we are in the pecking order, we're just happy to be there! Our bus driver was very entertaining too

We got the Magical Express from MCO to AKL and were also last (after Pop & CSR) - well second to last if you count Kidani.

It's a bit of a bugger, but doesn't add much time, and it's not like the 15 minutes extra is going to make much of a difference on the first night.

I just like being on the Disney roads and seeing what I can spot!
