Last year I switched from tax act to tax Hawk. Was very happy with tax Hawk. I think it’s $12.95 for state and federal is free.

I've been using Free File Fillable Forms for years and no problems itemizing. It's doesn't guide you though; it simply is an electronic version of the traditional paper forms. It's pretty easy and even easier if you have last year's return to guide you.

There's H&R block absolute zero but I think it's similar to irs that doesn't guide you through itemizing.
