LOL
I went to my local one around 12:15 this morning on way home from work and was told that they -the night crew knew nothing about it and they would probably have it in the morning. and she said I could go to another 7 11 and see if they had any. wow cause I want to drive all over NOT.I had my mouth set on it even if it was a little one. Last year they had a sign on the door at 9 am out of cups.
It's good nationally at all participating stores. I bet there are folks out there who will spend over $5 in gas to get a "free" 7 oz slurpee. You know those teeny tiny 8 oz Coke cans? This slurpee is smaller than that.

There was an article in USATODAY that said 7-11 sells more Slurpees on their freebie day than any other. I think it's because they do run out of the free cups and people made the trip, so they just pay for a Slurpee anyway. The gas spent may/may not be true: in an urban area, they're pretty convenient.
