Thought the experts on the Budget Board might know this.....
I'm looking for a place where I can get a cheap stroller shipped free to the Poly. We have a Graco IPO which has made the trip several times, but this time I'm flying with 2DDs by myself and handling 3 carry-ons and a stroller is too much for the airport. We could rent, but it's usually the walk to the buses or monorail that are too much for DD4. Any suggestions? I've seen free shipping on over $100, but I'm wanting to spend more like $30. Maybe I'm asking for too much!

Could you just check the stroller at the counter and either pick it up at baggage claim or put a magical express tag on it if you are using ME?

Otherwise maybe amazon? They normally have free super saver shipping on order 25 +

If you sign up for Amazon Mom you have free 2 day shipping. Not sure what type of stroller you are seeking for $30. You would probably be better off shipping your own stroller, if you didn't want to gate check it.

I'd also vote for Amazon Prime 2-day shipping. Or what about a non-Disney rental where you rent for the duration of your trip? (Link for the Orange ones at the top of the DISboards, I believe.)

And I'm sure you have your logistics figured out, and I only have one child, but when DS was stroller aged and I traveled alone with him I found it easier to travel with his stroller, even using it to haul our carryons and his carseat and carrying him on my hip or having him walk.

Albeebaby.com has a flat $4.95 shipping rate for items under $100 and free shipping after. They carry lots of good strollers (some at closeout prices). I have used them several times before and always been happy with this company.

Hope that helps!

What about renting a stroller from a company in Orlando? The one I know is A Baby's Best Friend www.abbf.com, but there are more now. See the Disney for Families Board for advice, or I think one of the companies might have a link above the threads on this board.

They'd probably have a selection of strollers; they'll have it waiting at Bell Services before you arrive and pick it up after you leave; they'll replace it if you have any trouble; and the cost is probably comparable to what you'd pay for a 'disposable' stroller.

I second albeebaby.com! Great company. Heard about it here on the budget board! I bought a booster and a lightweight stroller for our trip and got free shipping. They will ship to your resort if you want. We got a beautiful Britax on clearance. Check it out!

How were you planning to get that stroller home? If you can't handle one on the trip to Orlando, you won't be able to handle it on the trip home either.

And shipping it home could end up being pretty costly.

Why not rent one from a baby's best friend or one of the other Orlando rental agencies that specialize in baby stuff for vacationers? That way you would have it at the resort and in the parks but wouldn't have to deal with getting it home.

I second this! When we travel, I have a carseat, and a carryon each for 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids)...I pile everything up on the stroller & wheel it right thru the airport. Then I gate check the stroller & it's waiting for us when we get off the plane so I load it up again & wheel our way to Magical Express. :) Why buy something you already have?

There is a seller on ebay who has been selling 2009 Maclaren Volo's for a while.

You can't beat 56 bucks and free shipping for that stroller. I bought one and it does have the recall kit on it.
