Are there still site where you can get free ringtones for Verizon without a lot of hassle?

Thanks, I know this gets asked often but I cannot find a recent thread. :goodvibes

www dot mobile17 dot com

Best site i've used before!! Just upload the song from your computer files, input what time you want tone to start at and how many seconds to go for, max is 45 i believe.

The only issue you will come across is the waiting line, it's free, but you are in a queue based on how many people are uploading and transferring. The best time.. Mornings for sure. never wait more than 20-30 minutes. Or just do it before bed and by the time you wake up, your song will be waiting!

I second phonezoo.com
Be careful though as these ringtones are submitted and some could be offensive.

I use phonezoo.com also. You can upload a song from your computer on there too (like some of the PP's said about other sites) & pick the part you want to use! All it costs is the price of a text since they text the ringtone to you...so I guess if you have unlimited, it's free.

You can use audacity (free audio editing program) and cut your own music down to a shorter length.

I would love to find one for a Nextel.

I've got to agree with Phonezoo. I've made my own ringtones there, and sent them to my cell. It's very easy to pull out just the part of the song you want, so that the ringtone starts and ends in a "good" spot.

This may be a dumb question...
How do I upload a song from my computer? From itunes? From a CD?

If you're doing it in Phonezoo, it lets you browse your computer to find the song. If you have it in Itunes, you should be able to go to (on a PC with Vista) My Computer or the C Drive, then there will be a link on the left side for music. There should be an Itunes folder, then click on Itunes music. Find the artist, then the song.

I hope that makes sense. I'm a little loopy right now from medication.

I think it depends on your phone? My BF just hooks his windows phone up to his PC and he can copy MP3s and sound clips over to the phone. Each of his friends makes the phone ring with a different song so we both know who is calling which I guess is a double edged sword for him?

Haha! ;)

Phonezoo Phonezoo Phonezoo!!!! I make all my ringtones, DBF's ringtones, the kids' ringtones and they are all FREE!!!! I've even sent some really cute pictures to my phone from Phonezoo, in fact my current outer wallpaper is from Phonezoo. :) I make mine so no offensive anything, I use my music that I've purchased so no worries there. I just browse, find the file I want, upload it and crop it where I want it. Soooooo easy!

If you have a proper song on your computer use makeownringtone.com to convert it to a ringtone
otherwise: youtube + video2ringtone.com

I used Brinked to get my free ringtones- I love the fact you can make them for free from youtube videos.

Heres a video walkthrough for using brinked: (nm I can't post links) - Just do a search on youtube for brinked.

tuneusin.com has a bunch, just look at them through your phones browser and it has a link to download right to phone.
