Well, I think I kept every food receipt we were given on our recent trip to the world June 6-13th. Would you all be interested in my review of what we ate?

We ( me, DH, dd15 and dd11) stayed at POP and had a wonderful trip. We used up every meal and snack credit and only paid about $20 out of pocket. Sharing 3 meals seemed to work for us b/c 4 was just too much food. It was so great to be eating for "free". Some of the places we ate at were POP, AOA, Poly, CSR lunch buffet, Sunshine Seasons and many more. We did no TS at all, and that's a first for us. It seemed easier to have the QS this time opposed to DDP b/c we did not have to be at an ADR at a certain time. And b/c of the heat it seemed too hot to eat much. We were able to do a lot more by not having TS this time.

Day 1(Arrival) - POP - POST 14
Day 2- POP and CHH-POST 27
Day 3-POP, La Cantina, Sunshine Seasons, Liberty Inn -POST 30
Day 4-POP, Starring Rolls, AOA- POST 32
Day 5-POP, CSR Pepper Market, AOA-POST 39
Day 6- POP, Lotus Blossom, Yorkshire Fish, SS-POST 40
Day 7-AOA, Poly, Pecos Bill, -Post 44
Day 8 - Departing :sad1:POP and finalthoughts -POST 45

I'll also include our snack locations and reviews.
I have a lot of info about AOA's food court-you won't believe the service!
Who's on board? First review will be dinner at POP on arrival day! We were starved and ate every bite!

Can't wait to hear about the food, especially at Art of Animation!

We are doing the QSDP for the first time in September so I can't wait to read all the yummy reviews!

DAY 1 Arrival day June 6, 2012

We arrived at MCO at 6:30 PM and were hungry but decided to wait to eat at POP:flower3:. We got a great room in the 60s on the corner overlooking the lake! pixiedust:And it was not too far from the food court, though we did take the stairs/elevator from the 4th floor.

It was about 8 PM when we finally were in POP food court. We had free QSDP and that included refillable mugs, which we have never had! Unfortunately, there are 4 of us and only 3 colors ( pink, blue and black). My two daughters each took pink and put label stickers on theirs with their names. We brought the labels from home and they came in handy all week for putting names on unfinished drinks. We all filled our mugs with lemonade or powerade. We're not big soda drinkers. They also have 4 kinds of iced teas there. I did get tea a few times but be warned it is lukewarm and needs a lot of ice!

We ordered 3 meals to share( you can ask for extra plates or get small ones form the bakery) and kept the drinks for the next day. The fridge was a fine temp. although we only kept drinks and desserts in there and not any real "food" that might spoil.

Meal 1 was apple juice, bacon cheeseburger w/fries, and mickey oreo cupcake.-I did not taste this but dd and dh said it was a good burger. Sadly, the cupcake was never eaten but stayed in our fridge for several days until it was too stale to eat.

Meal 2- Cranberry juice, penne chicken alfredo and deluxe brownie. DH and I love this meal! The chicken was moist and had delicious breading on it, and the alfredo sauce is so good! I need to find the recipe. It also came with a breadstick that I thought was too garlicy but DH ate it. The brownie had m n m's on it and some nuts. It looked really fancy but tasted dry.

Meal 3- Orange Juice, Beef stir fry, stamp for a sundae( you have to use it within 90 minutes). The stir fry was beef and broccoli and rice. It was OK, but had a strange taste to it. I guess they added a spice to it that we are not used to eating. My DH later went back with the receipt and got a sundae with vanilla ice cream and carmel sauce over an apple dumpling. He liked it.

We must have been really hungry b/c every bite of food was eaten and we were all full! We agreed we would not get the beef stir fry or that brownie again. :scratchin

We ate outside since the air conditioning was freezing inside. It was getting cold and none of us had pants and DH and I did not have coats. I was thinking about buying us clothes, but a few days later it was in the 90s so I'm glad I didn't.

It was moderately busy in POP at 8PM but the lines were very short compared to how it would be later in the week.

I'm sorry but I did not take many pictures of food, but I will see if I can figure out how to put a few up. I wasn't really planning on doing a long dining report but it seems as if there are few QS reports and we need more on here.

For anyone that is new to WDW out there, you can go to google images and find a lot of food pictures. I just put in POP century chicken penne and got several photos.

have eaten there plenty times, but want to hear your opinions. also want to hear about AOA food court! (at pop, I love the shrimp lo mein)
