Most museums have a free day of the month or week if you check.

The museums listed near me have free days, so 2 free tickets for 5 of us wouldn't save us.

Just suggesting you check first. Free museum days are not always listed on the museum's website, but you can google search to find them usually.

I guess we are spoiled. We live just outside of Washington DC and most of our museums are always free.
