Free Microsoft WORD for mac?

I really miss my Microsoft WORD from my PC. Is there a free downloadable for mac?

I don't find PAGES user friendly AT ALL!!

your kidding right? Bill Gates does not give ANYTHING away for free-you can however purchase Office for Mac-its about as expensive as anyother office suite-in the 150 to 250 range depending on the features you choose to have.

If you have kids at home or if you are a teacher, you can get a discount on a student version for Mac. It also comes with 3 licenses, so you can load it on multiple Macs within your household. I'm sure I didn't pay over $150.

I use 'Bean'... a free word processor for Macs.
I like it just fine for my basic needs.

Bill Gates hasn't run Microsoft in over 10 years and quit his part time job there 2 years ago.

That said, Office is most certainly given away for free. http://office.live.com/

It is horrible compared to the "real" paid for Office but still better than any other free options out there including Open Office. I'm not positive if Office online works for Macs.
