Free items for Kindle & Ipod Touch, Pls add to list

My mom got my dd a Kindle Fire & my ds a Ipod Touch 4th Gen. She doesn't have wifi, so I took them home to load up. I'm not tech savvy.

Kindle Fire- I read on here about pixelofink a while back, so I've been getting those free books loaded to my amazon account for a while. I have free amazon prime right now, which I got through Amazon Mom. It looks like it will be worth getting it after my months are up just for the lending library. I also got some free Android game apps downloaded. Any other good free book or app sites?

Ipod Touch- right now I have my paypal account linked just so I can load up with free games. I did by the angry bird game & one song. I don't want stuff added to this or my cards that my 10 year old has access too. How do ya'll pay? If I buy an itunes gc can I unlink my paypal? I have figured out how to add free games. Are there other apps that are good & free to add?

iPod... First thing you need to do is learn how to use RESTRICTIONS. This will keep your 10 year old from sending you to the poor house through in app purchases.

Go to the SETTINGS app, choose GENERAL, then choose RESTRICTIONS. You then want to make sure that you can turn OFF the one for In-App purchases. Way down the list. On my DD9's iPhone I also have iTunes, Installing Apps and Deleting Apps turned off.

When you want to add apps, you will simple turn the restrictions off. Now for a few of my favorite apps...

CARDSTAR (keep all those pesky customer cards for you)
NETFLIX (works just like your at home Netflix does - you will need WiFi)
TV Guide (essential)
CRACKLE (Like Netflix but free and less content)
FACEBOOK (Duh)
FLIGHT CONTROL (very addicting)
IMDB (ever wonder what movie that star was in?)
NIGHTSTAND (oh yes, the iPhone is an alarm clock)
PHOTOSYNTH (take panoramic pictures)
SCAN (Great for checking out those QR bar codes on television or products)

Re: payment on your itunes- yes, you can take Paypal off if you put on an itunes gift card and carry a balance that way.
