Free Internet Question

Hello all,

Just wondering if the free internet for DVC members is just at DVC resorts. I'm staying for a couple of days at POFQ and was wondering if I would have to pay for internet there. Thanks.

From the member website:

Daily Internet charge to be discontinued effective May 4, 2008
Based on Member feedback, the daily charge for wired high-speed Internet access for Members staying at Disney Vacation Club Resorts at the Walt Disney World® Resort will be discontinued effective May 4, 2008. Guests renting Disney Vacation Club accommodations will continue to pay the daily rate for access, and high-speed Internet access charges still apply to Members staying at non-Disney Vacation Club Resorts.

I am currently staying at Saratoga Springs and what I was told is the same as above, AS LONG AS YOU ARE A DVC MEMBER STAYING AT A DVC RESORT AND RENTING WITH POINTS. I have a feeling the charges will be on my bill, but the front desk should remove them when I request it.

We were at SSR the week of May 18th and used the internet every day. There were no charges for it on our bill at all.

Yes, we had the same experience at AKV and BCV mid May. No charges at all. It was great.

Yep, and you cleared up that question with your quote of the DVC site. I was reassuring DrMikey2 as was Caskbill, I think.
