Free ice water at CS or soda fountains - question about water

Please clarify. Does C/S mean Concession Stand?

I'd like to cut down on the cost of bottled water in the parks, and ice water is much more refreshing to me anyway.

Can we get a cup of free ice water anytime we eat at any of the food shops in the Disney parks?

How about in between meals? Where should we go for ice water then?

We are visiting all 4 parks at then end of June, so we'll be very thirsty!

CS = Counter Service Restaurant. Like Fast food Disney style. You do not have to make a purchase to get the free ice water. The policy is to give free ice water to help curb dehydration and heat related sickness.

Remember to take a sport bottle with you to pour you ice water into....they will give you as many as you need to fill your bottle, but they will not fill the water bottle for you.

My own opinion, if they give it to you in a small cup, I would say "Could I please have a larger cup?" and if the person says no, ask for the floor manager, and repeat the question (politely). I am sure you could get it in a larger cup. Disney in general will bend over backwards to make the guests happy, and that includes large cups of ice water.

Actually, we had two managers inform us that we could have as many cups (20 oz) of ice water as we needed, but they were not allowed to use 32 oz cups for water.......I said " doesn't that cost you more $$$?" and both replied almost identically, "that is what we have been informed to do". My thought, they figure most people will not ask for more than one which does save a few pennies. We were their nightmare, we asked for 4 at a time to fill our two sports bottles.

If there are only 2 of you just use this trick. We just walk up and say that we need 4 ice waters instead of 2. Then we each drink 2 since they generally only give you small cups.
