Free hoppers? rebate for htose who already paid??

Question. We booked our vacation a month ago. Paid in full.
Today they released that they will add on for free the park hoppers/ water parks and more option to any packages between March something and May something...we paid for the hopper and stuff in our package..will anything be done for us, rebate or anything for the difference?
Or are we out of luck???

It doesn't hurt to ask. I'm sure if they have availabillity for your dates you can always cancel and rebook. Good Luck!
 
Last year I had a random public code, not through the Disney Visa, it was one I just heard about on these boards. I had already paid in full and Disney credited my account. I had paid with a credit card that was a debit card. So definitely call to check!

If you originally paid with your Disney Visa card then they will adjust your reservation provided there is availability at the resort you choose. If did not pay with your disney visa card then they will have to cancel your existing reservation and rebook using the disney visa card. HTH.

Its not the code for disney visa code its for the canadain Residents one!
 
:cutie: You have to contact WDW ASAP with the Canadian code you want to use to find out - they will not automatically adjust a res. Or if you used a TA, call them ASAP to see about revising your res. If there is availability with that code, yes, they can adjust and will usually credit your credit card for any difference...if no availibility you will have to consider and have them check another resort.

There is one big BUT though (besides mine :laughing: ) - when you originally made your original booking if you already used a special deal for that (like a room only code) you will have to choose one or the other, you won't be able to stack discounts, so be sure you will be saving $$$ to switch. :goodvibes
 
just got off the phone with CAA. She said you can't have 2 promo's..so we choose the $25 gift card or the rebate.
so I'd choose the $189 rebate..before I get excited..she just called back and said the woman at customer service was arguing with her about the code saying it was for Disney Visa only....So she hung up and will call back. she said they are so unorganized there!
She will call me tomorrow with the outcome!
 
she called back to confirm...they applied the code and we will be getting a credit on my Credit card or $319.64...today is a magical day...lol

Glad it worked out for you. Being that you used a TA they should have picked up on this. If you need a true Disney Specialist - I know a WONDERFUL one that does all these things for you with no worries. PM me if you are interested for a future trip.

She said they just found out about the codes this morning...I am guessing they don't mention it if you don't "find" it for yourself"...lol I won't be using them for next trip!
 
I was just refunded this evening after reading the code announcement on the Dis. Disney was very accomodating.
 
When I called disney, I mentioned the deal and described it, totally forgetting there was an actual code. (I think i was still freaked out that my call was answered instantly instead of being on hold for the usual 15 minutes) She then asked me for it and sounded like either (A) she wasn't familiar with it or (B) just wasnt going to give it to me if I didn't actually know it. I quickly regained my senses and looked it up online. She had to put me on hold for a couple minutes but when she got back it was all good. She appled it to my all ready booked package.
 
HMMM, well I will have to call back then I booked our trip a month ago and when I called a few days ago I was told that I could not get it as I booked more then 14 days ago! But if i wanted to cancel and rebook I could but I would loose my trip insurance which is almost $200 so I said forget it as that wouls not save me anything at all.

Well that is true, we didn't need to have our trip paid in full until March 17th, however, I paid it off a month ago, but if we would have went beyond the 45 days of cancellation, we would have incurred a fee as well. So that is why you may be having the problems? That fine print comes in to play at this point w/ your vacation. Sorry. :(
 
but our trpi is still aprox 60 day away so we are not withing the 45 day thing, and we havent paid in full yet we have until March 15th to pay in full.

I see now that its only for perfered rooms maybe thats why we have standard room.

Im going to call back and see.

Oh jeez that stinks! I thought I was on to something.......I would definately call back, that is a bunch of garbage, they can't pick or choose.

I will tell you what I did when I called? Don't know if this will help you or not? Here goes, I told the CM that I paid off my trip and I just caught wind of a code for the free hopper/water park option, she said yes that is true, let me check your ressie, I said ok, she said you are in luck, you are within the time limit and won't have a fee. SHe said one minute please...she said ok, and I was refunded almost 200.00 and I never even gave her the code? good luck
