FREE GREEN & PINK Pop Fridge Swap - Timeslots available in Fall/Winter 2009

MsCoz2000 - the photo was in the original thread, I think. The fridges are the taller dorm style with a small (4" x 8"?) freezer compartment - big enough for maybe 2 small water bottles, but not much more. I don't know how well they actually work.

I think both fridges had coffeemakers to start with, but can't confirm if that's still the case with Pink - any former swappers want to chime in?

Taylor'sMom & NancysTrio - I've added you to the swap list & sent PM's with more info.

Politzania-
Thanks...I knew I saw it somewhere!!! Small is ok...All I want to freeze is 1 water bottle per night, perfect!

Just confirming I'm good for April 26 - May 1st I think you offered. I sent you a PM with some questions and didn't hear back yet so just making sure.:cool1:

You should be able to get at least two bottles of water/vita water in the freezer compartment. I think I also managed to get a juice box in also.

I would like to join but I don't have 10 posts yet and can't PM!!! March 7-12, 2009. thanks!

Yeah!!! We won the fridge Lotto!! I'm so excited my husband thinks I lost my mind!:rotfl2:

I just got back from a wonderful trip and was lucky to have the pink fridge. All is well with the pink swap!

RobinCorn used it before me. She was from another swap that lost their fridge. She did add a coffee maker to ours, so now we have a fridge and a coffeemaker. The fridge is just as described. It is not the small square kind, but a rectuangular unit. I was able to fit in at least 10 water bottles and I used the freezer to put in gogurts (2 boxes fit!).

I hope everyone enjoys using it and again thanks to Politzania for running this!

Hi, I'm going to try to send a PM as well, but I'd like to know if we'd be able to join the fridge swap and use dates 9/5/09-/9/12/09. Let me know, thanks!

A Pink Fridge update from Sabrina90744
Just watned to let you know I am packing everything up now and probably won't be able to post until Sunday at best. The fridge is a larger white fridge, no box. The freezer fits about 5 16 oz bottles of water. I easily fit 2 half gallons of milk and 2 liter of soda along with 10 juice boxes and 10 bottles of water in the fridge. I have left a cheap toaster with the swap and there was a coffee pot with it so I didn't leave the hot pot. I also let some lysol wipes. There are no filters with the coffee pot.
So I guess the "Pink" part of the swap no longer applies - unless any of the next swappers want to bring along some paint... :rolleyes1

OK I thought this was pretty funny. Only because it's something I would do!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I pm'd with my dates and haven't heard yet so just double checking is May 23 - 30 avail?

Thanks!! And thanks for coordinating this!

I see it is reserved until the 31st but are they leaving that morning? I can not pm you because I am to new. Thanks, Cassie

I'd like to sign up for the fridge swap -

Dates: April 13 to 19, 2009

Thank you!

Kris

I have updated the swap post (second in this thread) with the latest requests - zeke11, mrscramer and 2manyprincesses

We just got back late last night and had the pink fridge through 2/21. It was great and so was the coffee pot. We didn't use the toaster. It was nice to take some frozen water bottles to the parks and not have to buy water there throughout the day (although, I'm not sure DH appreciated the extra weight in the backpack)! Let me know if there are any questions.

I PMed you, but I am interested in May 10-18th if possible. We are arriving on the 8th so if the person ahead of me does not confirm then I would love it for the first two days as well!
