Just spotted this thread...am new on here...and not sure what to do...i am in 'pop' 18 July - 2August...what do i need to do?

First you should go to the first page of this thread and look to see if 1 of the fridges is available the dates you need it. If so then send a PM to Politzania and ask her to put you on the list for your dates. Once she has confirmed that your dates are available you will need to provide your full name, reservation # and telephone number. You will also want to contact the person before you in the swap so they know who to leave the fridge for and the person after you so you know who to leave the fridge for. Hope this helps...good luck!!!

PS- be patient sometimes it takes a little while to hear back, but you will get a response.

What I do (and this is the 2nd time) Once I check into my room I call down to luggage services and have them deliver it to my room ( I tip the person $2). Then if I'm not swapping directly with the next person I call luggage services and have them pick it up ( I also tip the person $2 and ask for a claim ticket). It has worked so great for me...

Great stuff, have received pm from Politzania, so should be ok to go ahead for collection from luggage services...

however, the person who has the fridge in front of me, will already be on vacation now, as they already have the fridge today : 11th -17th July... So not sure what to do about passing my details onto them?

Shall i will still pm them, as they may still log onto here at some point throughout this weeks break???

Hello,
I just wanted to let everyone know that my family used the green fridge last week and it worked great! The freezer door was off when we got it and it didn't stay on great during our trip, but it still worked fine. Unfortunately when we picked it up from luggage services there was no coffee pot. We went back to check again, and even went back into the storage room, but there was no coffee pot to be found. My husband ended up having to take a taxi to Walmart for a couple of other things and he picked up a new coffee pot for the swap while he was there. So there should be a new coffee pot inside the fridge for the next swappers. We also left a travel pack of disinfecting wipes for the next few swappers to use. Good luck to everyone else!

Hiya,

I am supposed to be collecting the green fridge for 14 days in front of dsnycrzy..but have not yet heard from the person in front of me, as they are already away...hoping I will hear soon, as I am due to be there in 4 days time. If I dont hear from them I am assuming it will still be ok to collect from luggage services, but my details will not be on it??, but at least I can leave dsnycrzy details on it, when departing.

I have pm'd politzania a few times, regarding this, but have not heard back yet..?? So hopefully she will pm me soon.

dsnycrzy: can you pm me your details to put on the fridge when I leave, all being well, things will be sorted by the time I arrive on the 18th.

Back from a whirlwind long weekend at Disneyland with the Friends of the Magic folks - whew! LOTS of fun, but not much sleep! :yawn:

Had one cancellation - the Pink Fridge is now available for Oct 3-14. I added DisneyBlonde to the waitlist as well.
