Ok, just back-- I did not get the fridge....I even walked through the luggage area with someone and we could not find it, that doesn't mean it wasn't there though. :-( I sent a few messages to the person before me before I left for my vacation....never heard back. I was on the green fridge---please everyone make sure that you put MANY labels on the fridge and not on the top...they don't store them on the "lower" level that often. SOrry...hope that it is found soon!

Looking for info, any info, on the PINK portion of this swap and so I have sent PMs to various people who have either recently had the fridge, or were scheduled to have it. It seems this particular swap has been abandoned, even though it isn't all that long ago that both the green and the pink fridge were used and seemingly available, though it also seems like there has been a lack of communication with respect to the list and keeping things going.

This was going to be our first swap and things seemed hopeful, but not so sure of that right now. If we were so fortunate as to find something, it would be good to continue this along, but since the owner of the thread is not posting, not really sure what could/should be done.

Has anyone used the fridges recently?

I posted that I returned the green one to luggage services after my trip. It would be nice if everyone did that who used the fridge so we know that the fridge is still there and if any supplies are need to keep it clean or tape for the box.

They are both gone

I was supposed to have the "Green" Fridge this past weekend. Yrdly... sent me a PM to let me know she couldn't find it when she was there so I tried to do some detective work before I went but didn't get very far. Earlier in the year I used the "Green" Fridge so I figured when I went to luggage services I would try to look for it(since I know what it looks like). They let me look around and I didn't see either the Pink or Green boxes. There was a loose fridge that MAYBE could have been one of them, but it had someones contact info that was checking in on Sunday the 29th and I know it wasn't someone from this swap.

I'm not saying that they won't be found at all... I tried contacting the last person to have bothe fridges (so did yrdly...) and I haven't heard back. I was trying to get the claim ticket # but no luck. I also tried contacting Politziana but have not heard back either. It's too bad... Sorry to the everyone who was "depending" on the fridges like me. Maybe those of you who have enough time can try to get on another swap. Good Luck everyone.

Hi all- this was to be my first swap--really I was going to buy my own fridge down there but when I found out about this I thought it would be great--I did try to track down the person before to get the claim ticket no luck before I went or when I came home---I hope that they are both found--if your are on the list don't give go to luggage service and see if the pink or green one is there (whatever you are scheduled for)

Our Gold Star fridge has disappeared. Can you please be on the look out in case it got mixed up with one of the other swaps!
It used to have paper Gold Stars taped to the box but I have not been able to determine if they are still on there. Someone was kind enough to get a box from UHaul since the old one had fallen apart. When I used it last it was the kind of moving box you can hang clothes in. It also had a coffee pot and toaster but those were inside the fridge. It is one of the bigger "college" type fridges with a separate freezer. The fridge is black, it also had gold stars taped to it. I also had a laminated "If Found please call Sandi"
